Ha Ha!! Mrs Wong practically lived in there, she used to have her first coin ready before the punter had even got out of his seat. One day she had the cash beast spin in, she got what she thought was afters, then me and a bloke called Paul, who makes a living off horses dived striaght on it for the flash... She was practically convulsing with rage. I think the Wongs have moved back home now, think they went bust. It was a 250 Stars and Stripes in the Grosvenor I think. You must remember Tiberius on the Triangle, that used to be a Grosvenor as well back in the day. You will probably remember a shark with a basin hair cut, around 50, called Pete who was up there poaching on a nightly basis as well.

Never did the itj in stanleys, but I know a lad from Southampton way who did. You most definitely know who i'm referring to. However I did do the cash beast off nearest win for a good few weeks before eventually getting banned for life. (life being a year or so in the end). There was a £200 rip on the dracula as well. Yeah i'd probably recognise your face if I saw you, I was always in one of the Casinos, good times in those days.

Many moons ago, I used to frequent the same Grosvenor in Bristol - I used to do the grandslams in there, then head down to the Stakis and do their 'slam.

I went to the Grosvenor in Bristol once
Both me & my mate played the 2 1G grand slams, we were there around the time people were only doing the £500 slams, i remember the manager coming up to us & asking us why one of the lights for the grand slam board was missing, the folowing morning we were barred without even getting the Jp, my Mate freddy was the inventer of the grand slam emptier.  :o

There is at least one inaccuracy in each line of that post.

Boring.

If my mate Freddy did not work out the trick on grand slam, then who did then?
I can prove you both wrong by the end of your posts. :P 8)

technically the empty was invented by the person that coded the machine, deliberately or unintentially the person responsible for the original programming "invented" the empty by not fully perfecting the program.
