its not 86% paid out. its 86% offered ie you win £5 gamble and lose. the £5 it offered goes towards the 86% even though you didnt get it
Eh ?

Ive never heard of a machine making percentage that way.

Pure nonsense. Also there are no gambles, as such, on a casino Monopoly.
All these people that bang on about whooopedy doo 50p stake is so much better, must be some antidotes, anecdotes, antithingymys surely?

Nonsense - hence how machines are progressive and respond to being forced.

this has been happening since the P3 back in 2004, this happend even on the emptyable versions from the P3 onwards . All of a sudden it would lock up. It would block hold wins on the bottom, except the bars and you would only get a nudge win every 50 in or so with the odd game.

I noticed once you got a feature via a hold and it gave JP then everything went back to normal. When i was doing the last of the p3 's it did this every now and again and i was on it for ages around 100 down if it happend.

Hmm, like the above posters, I doubt that would be the case. If it 'was' the case (and I'm speaking generally here, I know nothing about lo-techs) then, as also mentioned above, forcing would not be viable and 'surely' the percentage would 'always' decrease over time if you forced it:

£10 in, £5 win offered, gambled, lost.
£10 in, £5 win offered, gambled, lost.
£10 in, £5 win offered, gambled, lost.
£10 in, £5 win offered, gambled, lost.

That would 'not' keep the percentage level, it would reduce constantly.

Out of interest, where did you come by this information / theory? :)

Just to quote myself:
I know nothing about lo-techs
I was referring generally to the post above about how %'s are 'supposedly' worked out. ;)
