Same with SMTMs here matt, for some reason they decided to bomb the place with them. 2 went this week, but there were 5 around the edges. Could have been something good!! :x

I'm doing a vortex and SMTM in the same boozer too, your profile says West Brom so probably not the same one, i've got 5 vortex and 5 mummies near me, all very hit and miss, especially the mummies, some of them hardly get much play though, did one of the vortex at 1pm saturday afternoon, England game was on Saturday night and Sunday is a busy day in this venue, i went in this place Monday afternoon to play a Holy Moley that was'nt ready on Saturday, anyway keyed the vortex out of intrest and it had taken £2 since my last visit

Probably take 2-3 weeks to recover at that rate, £2 all weekend in a busy pub, everyones skint.

Out of interest how do you know that someone did not do it in between

Say you left it £70 off on saturday at 1pm
With the game on it could have took £55-70 back by closing
Someone could have got it sunday at any point
So if you found it £68 off it may have been them that made it that way

I would have gone to check it Sunday for sure

I once took a £105 from a Vortex at 10am
Went back at 10pm to find it £7 off
Then got a £70 from £45 in

Yeah, fair comment, the holy moley had took next to nothing either (was mid £30's down both visits) so i assumed neither had had much play, i know where your coming from though.

The way its going at the moment
I was out last friday drinking not to play m/c's, and must have seen over 25 m/c's going from pub to pub, and not 1 was being played

Attack of the mummies! Bloody unpredictable beasts. Had to play them a lot recently due them being everywhere and not much else being about. Got a couple non-refillers on £125 here which i've emptied which is frustrating. One was full and all red but i still ended up £95 in to get the whole lot out.....was probably still rolling for a bit more, but didn't get to see. Didn't want a huge IOU as i thought i might not get paid!

Just out of interest, what was so bad about Invaders?

A very basic fruit stepper, obvious to players when ready, straight clone of the usual Aftershock/Rampage/Nitro/Quake style machine.

I thought it was fine, and still play one in an arcade not too far from me.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Invaders

I guess people got tired of getting an invaders after a top had been ripped from it via same numbers.
