You can win twice as much. Or maybe not in your case.

Splahh? Sounds like a case of the chippy, chip, chip chips? Or could it be the 'light wavelength between 520–570 nm' monster? Sploough.

Came across a strange bug/bad question on bullseye yesterday - got a question with 2 options asking:

"Which is the odd one out ?"

Indeed.

That happens a lot when questions that were written for games with 3/4 options are used in the early part of games where you only get 2 answers to pick from in the early stages - Deal or No Deal, Jiggy Bank and Trivial Pursuit being other examples that spring to mind.

A similar issue crops up occasionally when questions that were written with 3 possible answers are used in games where there are always 4 answers and they simply repeat one of the 3 answers so that there is a duplicate.

Yeah, duplicate options aren't normally a problem, and sometimes might prove helpful, that is unless it's the bleedin' answer that's dopplegangered.

Millionaire 2008:

Which country does the 2006/07 Premiership footballer Hatem Trabelsi come from?

..... with two 'Tunisia' options! ('TWOnisia' then, sorry couldn't resist it).

Wasted a 50/50 on that.

Was playing Spot the Difference deluxe yesterday, won £4 (didn't beat ash83's top score though).
I pressed collect, and the machine did nothing. Pressed Collect again, and the machine freezes completely.
Told the bar staff the machine had froze, so they restarted it, called a techie and didn't give me the £4!

Used the same machine a bit later, and it took its time to pay out, but eventually did.
No idea what was causing the problem, maybe a conflict with the hopper.

I don't think so.
It was one of the new Paragon Pro machines, the one with the massive widescreen.
STD is on most of the games machines, paragon, ind:e, gamesnet, itbox?

Technically, not a bug, but an annoyance all the same. It may be old news now, but I fell foul of it a couple of months back and I saw someone fall the same way last night.

ParagonPro, be wary of those with a sticker stating "Insert note, £2 to be played, remaining can be played or collected." (Or something very similar). On the insertion of a £20 (!) this poor chap had to play the entire amount before he could claim anything back...! Even though on the screen it clearly shows the remaining funds in the 'Bank' segment. :(

I did the same with a tenner a while back and actually made a profit in the end (albeit of about £2) from playing DOND / Bully / TP / CnR - but that's not the point! ;)
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
