I had my first ever Jackpot win today! On a BELLFRUIT!

I was bored so stuck £4 into Powerball (25p play, £25 JPT) in my local Spoons, got on the feature straight away but got killed off first gamble going lower than 11 to get a 12. Thinking it was on the suck I went through to my second to last credit thinking it wasn't going to get off the reels again, but little did I know things were about to change. At 2:35pm, on the final credit, I was relieved to find that two Powerball symbols had just spun in along with another that was just nudged in to start the feature. Then all of a sudden the alphanumeric display flashed up 'GO ALL THE WAY' and the cash symbols turned red. I nearly passed away, Powerball had just gone IM out of the blue! Three presses of the 'Start' button later, it reached the Jackpot which, wait for it... REPEATED (yes, you heard me right, repeated)! It only repeated once though, but I'm not complaining as I'm now £46 up, which I collected and scarpered as I had a bus to catch. £50 is my highest win on a fruit machine to date, beating the previous highest win of £23 on Megazone by more than double. A brilliant feeling, I went in there with £4 and ended up walking out the place with £50 in pound coins!

Three brilliant things happened today, got £20 knocked off me overdraft charges (nothing to do with gambling before you ask!), saw my first IM and got my first JP! Fantastic!

Thats pretty good going mate.

I was playing a clone of sorts, "crazy money"(great machine btw) at center parks and it randomly chucked its streak at me like that, it's a nice feeling.

I've found with this you get 2 JP's and a some afterplay anyway, totalling about £60, never had 3 JP's from a random one certainly on the ones i've played. (Ususally in the form of 2 "go all the way" boards" then a £8-£10 win).

So don't feel too aggreived by what ssgtsnelly said, but make note of it for future reference.

No offence taken at all mate!

I got a single IM which took me to the Jackpot with a YES/NO repeater.

To be honest I'm not really clued up with the signs on Powerball ie what to look for to see if it's ready to streak/IM etc. Can anyone point out the things to look for?

EDIT: I realise what you mean about 2 IMs now! I would have put another quid back in but had to go and catch a bus so left it. Hopefully someone after me would have got lucky and won the JP as well!

Yeah, the Go All The Way IMs on bellfruit repeat a fair bit i find.

The most i've had in one IM run is a £100 from Snakes n Ladders, which gave the GATW IM, and repeated 3 times! Got an £8 board after too...
I've also had about £140 from a hulk which streaked mentally.

As for powerball, i wouldn't ever try and force it. Just play for boards and hope for the IM, which seems to randomly drop in. The only Bellfruits i ever forced were Lockbuster/Easy Streak/Prize is right. Had £82 red streak from those, and they actually progress fairly decently (unlike most bellfruits).

Yeah - Hulk, Count Yer Cash and Jackpot Junction all had a habit of doing those consecutive IMs too. Shame they were all pants in the meantime!

err???

you'd have got another im within about £3 worth of credits, powerball usually does at least 75 when in this state, sometimes 100

rumors in the past were that a bellfruit streak like the one you had half of, are more or less random, they can be forced for, at a certain amount of credits played through it juist dumps the ims in.. i dont know if this is actually true but it seems like it could be.

the cap on a easystreak/lockbuster red streak is 89, if it does this it will then let you straight back into the middle the next board and kill you off on your last shot, so take skill cash and hope it doesnt jump, strange you mention these machines as the 6am start world cup game 4 years ago was the 1st time time i got the full 114 from lockbuster!

If I had the time to, I would have put a couple of quid back in to see if there were any 'afters'. Is there anything in particular to look out for on Powerball, in other words signs that it could go IM or streak pretty soon?

nah its a bellfruit. very random indeed.

my advice is just be careful with that £50, not to stick it in a different fruity!

Exactly! There's an Extreme in there too, another reason to scarper. For some reason I ALWAYS get raped by Extremes!

They might has well all have this for a board whenever I play:

Yep well done. It doesn't matter that it might have done another IM remember you were £46.00 up which is a very tidy profit in anyones book

Hmm, I could always change my name when I beat my highest win on certain machines...

You won't see me changing to an Extreme name that's for sure!
