£500 gambles
Matt i think you have lost the point somewhere along the line. Right i will say this to your orignal post. I love playing fruit machines. Now heres the main point. I love the b3 fruit machines. WHY ? Because they defo give me the buzz im looking for. For example i was down hemsby again last week for 4 days. Now without braging i have 1 hell of a healthy bank balance due to poker and working full time. Now i could easily pump 1k in a b3 without hurting me at all. But i dont. WHY NOT ? I AM NOT AN ADDICT.I repeat matt I AM NOT AN ADDICT. I love a gamble like the rest of us here. I allowed myself £50 a day for the arcades. And the 1st night i was in a club allnight.Had a go on a 250 clubber,Was evens after. 2nd day i go in arcade,I played rainbow riches and love playing this such machine (my fav) I lost my 50 allowance but i wanted to carry on. so i did and lost my full 200 allowance for them 4 days . Now an addict would just feed and feed it more. Not me i just simply walked off (not bitter or anything) Day 3 i never touched 1 machine.Day 4 i was out in club all night and was hungry,Went up town with about £600 in wallet and about 9 quid in change.I put 9 quid in slotto won 50. Went to another arcade play rr and won 125 for 4 quid in. Went to last arcade wherei lost 200 previous. Some woman on,I waited and played a rr pots And i won 60 very 1st press lol . Woman got the pots up won silver for 200.I swore and got my food and went back to chalet.End of holiday. Now i was down about a tenner overall on fruitys. So if i was an addict i would of chased and chased after losing 200. No not me.I AM not an addcit. I think even you can agree with that mattb ? Yes addcits play b3 machines But there are ADDICTS AT every level like a lot of players on here. Also you dont have to be a losing player to be an addcit matt. So are you an addict to fruitys ? Could you go a month without touching one ? I think you cant? Now do you get my point ? I only wanna get a message across lol Theres lots of people who love b3s like me,As once again hemsby was empty apart from the £5 jackpots and pushers The over 18 section is DEAD. b3s have killed it. And i am bloody well happy about that. I cant wait to play an rr again. I love them :P

Why hemsby then? Now without braging i have 1 hell of a healthy bank balance due to poker and working full time.
Also if you play full time i.e it pays your bills, why would you want to stop playing for a month? So are you an addict to fruitys ? Could you go a month without touching one ? I think you cant?
I personally find most B3s awful. I too treat these as a gamble as there is no other way that I know of! However I find those B3 Barcrests mean and stingy. I've never ever had a jackpot from them. Back in the s16 days I had a £500 jackpot from £40 on a Slotto. I guess I wasted a bit of a few bags of sand myself to establish that there are no good signs, no tells, no clues, if they're not random, they might as well be, oh they are random, let's not start that one up again. The only one I really play is REEL KING and sometimes the dreaded Holy Grail as it seems a bit looser than bloomin' Cashino which is tighter than a quack's bottom. Your RR isn't much better, although to be fair I've had lepricorns for £30 a couple of times.
Cms I find fairly naff, so it's only the REEL KING. I like the graphics and the ding ding ding noises. If it feels (don't start) like it might do something, I'll whack two big purples through it, knowing I may have to walk £46ish down.
Yes B3s and FOBTs have been a significant factor in over 18 Cat C decline.
I wouldn't describe Matt as an addict, he's clearly doing it for the money. He may not be as skillful as someone with Superman like powers on a certain feature but he goes out to play for the sole purpose of winning money. It's like saying someone is addicted to going to work, which I suppose some people may be, so who knows, could be a fair point!
Anyway the big question is, whilst I sit in this underpopulated mtt (4 of us) Mr Pie, I know you don't play on Laddies any more, but we were hoping to see you there.

FruityPie my friend..................
Explain to me how you make your £50 last more than 5 mins on a Rainbow Riches?
I am beginning to think I have THE WORSE luck on these in the country. Even if your limit was £200 I'd say you have an hour max????
Yesterday some woman put £5 into one of these and got pots for £400. an hour later I saw her going to the cash point after playing the other RR in another section of the arcade.
She simply said to me 'I knew they'd have it back'.
Easy come, Easy go I guess!!!!!
I mean I would say the average board on these is £10 - £30 and the average cost of these boards is £200-£300. You are simply hoping for a decent screen of riches or pot symbols. Lets face it, unless its on its non-random dump, these dont come along very often. I'm glad you find them fun, but if its not the money side of things for you but the entertainment then for gawds sake play something a little more friendly that gives you a little bit more value.

The main reason people play B3 machines (£500) is because they can win £500 without having to know anything about the machine, or have any knowledge. They are almost the exact opposite of your normal pub machine, whereby the vast majority only make any money BY KNOWING the machines inside out. Hence they have become popular. They are also money eating bastards at times - and can easily take a few thousand pounds without so much as more than £50 coming back at you. The new ones (with the gambles) have made big wins more obtainable, but equally you can lose a hell of a lot quicker on these too!
Pub machines and £500 machines are chalk and cheese - but it may not be long before we start seeing the £500 style in pubs on a more common basis - especially if the jackpots go up again!

I wasnt in there for more than half hour. Hope this helps. P.s i only ever play these in arcades now. I lose i walk. I win I cash up and walk. I have never been more happy with these b3s. I dont touch any machines no more like party time etc/Them days i was losing lots. Do you see where i am coming from ? Every arcade is same now.Kids bit is rammed.Adults is empty. The lo tech days are over for this gambler and i cant be more happy. The only sessions i have on fruitys now are the clubbers.PMK wrote:FruityPie my friend..................

Of course you will see them in pubs in the future. Its a new era isnt it. Time moves on. All the hi tech players are doomed.Im afraid thats what happens in life. Everything moves on. And i am probally one of the few ones welcoming the random fruitys. End of day its this forum what done me the good. I read these posts and i am thinking i aint giving these chavs my money no more. And i havnt touched a hi tech for about 4 years now. Thanks to fruit forums.Barry Trotter wrote:The main reason people play B3 machines (£500) is because they can win £500 without having to know anything about the machine, or have any knowledge.
