I know its a while off and plenty may happen in the meantime, bearing in mind the Olympics, but surely Padraig Harrington has to be close favourite.

Harrington not eligible as he is classed as overseas, so not UK personality.

He is 13/8 to win the overseas title however, which seems remarkably good value. Phelps main challenger

Rebecca Adlington will win it, the country loves a blond haired girl, and she has come across a lot more bubbly so to speak than Chris hoy who won more medals than her out there.

The only challanger i can see is Lewis Hamilton if he manages to win the title without any more silly business, but even then I think he would be struggerling.

if hamilton wins the f1 title the price on spoty

(sports personality of the year) will instantly make him unbackable so if you fancy him you need to be on now.
