just got the call from solicitor about me going equipped for theft with the REFILL key cps dropped it dont have to go court tommorow ha might have few drinks to celebrate.

Not sure on that one but I could probably find out.

Good news anyway and the only sensible conclusion to a great big waste of time and public money!

I am unable to see how I could get taken anywhere near a court for the refill key that I have on my keyring; as far as I am aware you cannot be prosecuted for having a key to a lock that is also your possession! They might as well try to prosecute me for having my own door key, on the basis that someone else could have the same lock...

my solicitor told me that as soon as the paperwork had been completed they would get in touch, i got a letter next day telling me to collect my belongings

My mate from Kent was told that the filth were taking no further action in similar circumstances and that his money would be sent to him (which it was), though it took seven weeks.

His new case is still ongoing after five weeks.

Surely the decision is with the CPS, not the "filth".

More than likely was the CPS yeah, but it was the filth that contacted him.

did used to have a bit of respect for them in the sense that they were only doing their job but after seeing how they go about investigating such matters, I have none whatsoever now.

Because the law is so bloody ambiguous. Theres nothing to answer for except a possible conspiracy or going equipped. Almost impossible to prove either way.

I got stopped myself back in June in Dorking because I was seen to be making numerous stops at a number of pubs in my car, but after explaining what I do, they asked a few more questions like the usual:
"So how do you know when they're gonna pay out then?", accepted what I done and let me be on my way.

Redhill police were just as acceptable too.

So why can't the rest of them be like it?
