A long and fairly fruitless day

Post by Mattb »

Evening all,

Decided to go a hunting today. Between 10am and 7pm i went through...

Luton (player spotted on jailbirds, cluedo in spoons dead, beat me to vortex....scarpered at that point).
Harpenden
St Albans
Hitchin
Letchworth
Baldock
Royston

and found machines that i wanted to play could be counted on two hands. 10 good machines in all those places, and about 40-50 pubs checked. Fucking disgraceful, all full of DOND, Hot Property, Caribbeans etc. Even smaller local pubs you'd expect to find old reds etc were no good. Kept my sensible hat on and turned away in disgust at all the shit, played what goodies there were and made about £80. A long day, 140 miles covered, and a crap return. Not impressed.

With that amount of pubs though i wanted a couple of ton. Playable stuff i found? 4 cluedos, 3 Vortexes, SMTM and Jailbirds. Hardly brilliant, you'd be expecting £80 from that lot anyway! 2 of those cluedos cost £32 & £33 as well! :x

yeah but we all have set runs where the take home amount differs from week to week, so next hit your bound to do better ,

40 pubs you dont have to check next time, means more time to expand on the good stuf you did find.

I was up Anfields territory. Was with the family so was only passing by. Some shocking machines there, It was like a time warp in some places. Only new thing I spotted was a Going ape.

Definately no Panthers or Rovers in any of these towns anymore and the Cabin has gone from the services as well unfortunately.
