what's your best dond m/c?
what's your best dond m/c?
nice and easy question to everyone, but not including "cheats" or emptiers" (p5 win stopper etc) mine has to be the crazy chair, lowest win has been £40 of a fiver and so far £80 off £10 in, have got 3 near me and so far ive not been burnt.... yet! cob on these seems a lot more friendly than other dond's, big reds was a f*****g joke!! "cash or bust will be lose"!!

I'd say that, as long as you don't get too involved, or come-a-cropper on a £15-for-a-board situation, most DONDs are 'OK'.
WOW - Easy as pie to read, the moment you get onto a board. If it took you over a £10er or so to get that board, and it starts without any telecommunication devices illuminated, COB it and walk.
CC - Very similar to the above. I though't I'd found a technique on this, involving 'not' getting red boxes and then COBing at a specific point. I had a few MSs this way, but it turned out to be a fluke, following further experimentation and others experiences...
DF - Again, test the water. No COB on this one, but if first board shows a lot of reds (>70%) and you can gamble up to get the top board open, see what happens. Hint: Look out for the 'guaranteed win' that flickers up very briefly whilst on the turbo gamble trail.
BR - This one can cost for a board, more than most of the others. Although it does seem to be the one that streaks the most. It's just being lucky enough to catch it. The signs on this one are a lot more difficult to spot. Although if not playing, it'll offer you the same features time and time again. Take a £3+ cash repeater if you fear the worst. COB on this is pretty poor.
P5 - If you're lucky enough to have an unchipped one (chances are getting slimmer and slimmer) then mop up! If not, I'm never really sure where to go with these ones. Endless bonus-giving-boost that doesn't seem to do anything. Red Mega Blast once gave me JP from stopping it on the 'Wild' symbol. But, I've also had it just roll in a couple of quid!
Anyone else tried this? Again, we all get 'the feeling' as to where we heading with the state of a machine. Try it and walk, or try it and get stuck in.
CYBTB - Easy to read from stacking volume; 1 or 2, not looking fantastic. 4+, you shoudn't be too far away from a bit of profit. COB, of course can deliver nicely on this one. Try and fill the fruit matrix as soon as possible, and see how high the 'scatter' goes on the stacks. You'll know whether it's looking promising or not. And of course, eyes out for Nearwest Win, which can be JP.
OK, I realise a lot of those tips / methods are pretty obvious to most of us, but it doesn't hurt to remind ourselves now and then...
Ooh, PS, my favourite at the moment, if I had to pick one, would be WOW.

I don't know. The Big reds? I say that because I went into Hollywood bowl when it had a p2 wizzy and this was the first time I had seen The Big Reds. I put in £1 and collected £2. Apparently this is amazing and that is the first and last time I have played The Big Reds. I mean there are only so many shite machines you can play aren't there? I have my hands full with Monopoly HP. Well not full, pretty empty actually.
So after all those good ones, my favourite DOND machine is The Big Reds.
Stop mucking around, of course it's the beloved p1 whizzy (NOT winstopper please). Good times on those and still kicking myself I didn't get the p2 flava earlier. I once took £240 out of the one, strangely enough in HB and decided to burn £90 back to get the light on and experiment on 50p play. It was an experiment primarily to see if I could force a jackpot, relating to value. When the p1 was on its arse and you had 50/50 and were going for WS 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 = 95% lose chance. Within £20 I had a board up to £20 cash which I didn't collect. I noticed 50p initially killed the gamble to WS as above, but then loosened, often giving it on 3s/10s. It seemed it didn't work like P5 (although I didn't use that comparison at the time) and I could only conclude a lot of the whizzys were free or compensated for on the im, always flat. I didn't get the jackpot, but did get a little bit of play. Had some reasonable bites, being risky on certain things, but I just didn't catch on. All I found out was that you could get SkillB a hell of a lot easier than a panther!
First go you can't guarantee a reverse either. Two....lo.........Nine. 6s and 7s only guaranteeds. Obviously tried that theory as a 2 on left would have = WS.
Missed out, had the p1 so early and then was left behind. So for me, the p1 whizzydial.

4 reeler all the way. I still have one that I always seem to make a profit on. Big box regularly nudges in and all the high value boxes have easy marks on them.
I've said before I do have the odd dabble on most DONDs but yeah - if u get stuck on the £15 for a board it can be fucking annoying.
And for the record i hate the big reds - can't stand it. It wasnt bad at first but shocking now - and it does not like COB'ing.

It does? Am I missing something here? Have I been blind to the obvious?
I've seen £80 through this and no win, GG would have balanced out with the hold/nudge Xs at least.
Reels the same idea, but surely totally different game. Am I going mad?
Totally different gameplay. Or is it?
Pm me please as you seem to know about GGGGs, but this post seems so very strange. Mystified, but have an idea now.
