It's good to keep in touch with people (if only to know where they've been) and can be good to go out and have a punt and a pint with them.

Known a few of the lads on here for a while (PMK, pickareel, dunhamzzz, logopolis, gary_chandler) met some of the others in passing; danthedude and mattb (very briefly and VERY drunkenly at sunny Butlins!)

I can't really understand some of the hostility on this board towards other players. Yes, it's very annoying when you find machines have been done by someone else but that's life, we're all trying to so the same thing, make dollars!! :D

i met square7 from arcadia years ago...
he passed away a couple of years ago now,
he was in my opinion one of the best fruity players ever... afterall he single handly worked out the emptier for ready to rock.... that still isnt chipped!

i wouldnt meet any of you...(not ment in a nasty way!!!) i dont play that much anymore... so not worth traveling to meet up to gamble...

although i would meet mikeW cause ive "known" him for quite a few years now, and it'd be nice to put a face to that name!

arcadia was fun, cause i used to spam the site really badly to piss graham and darren off... still never got my refill key from signing up to the members site...
I used to play with square7 back in the old days for years on end, he was a good player, but like me, a tad lazy and prone to a silly gamble, be it on silly lotechs/roulette etc. :P He got well into poker later on, which he seemed to be very good at!

Ready to rock is chipped now, newest chip kills first hi-lo gamble every board till the machine has value!

Popping buttons Dunhamzzzz?...tut tut.

Never forget the time a certain someone popped the "Play DOND" button on an unchipped P5 in the services we were staying at that was IOU'd.

Next morning, back on and re-floated, said person tries a board and upon landing on mystery his low-scale vandalism is suddenly remembered....D'oh!

I always thought RUDE and PMK were one and the same, but judging by this thread, certainly not.

Certainly not!!!

RUDE nicked "my quote_man" monikor back in the arcadia days the sneaky git!!

After having a discussion over several hundred pints he changed it to RUDE(a saying a swede head used in Showboats).

He then became Changing Stake Cancels Hold, but then got pissed off typing that lot in everytime he logged in and thus reverted back to RUDE.

If you ever come across two piss heads drunkenly holding a large class of red or white in the early hours attempting, after an all day session to hit their skills then you know it will be the PMK and RUDE. Two different people entirely!!!

I can speak on his behalf as he is currently in Italy! He text me in the early hours to inform me that Stanstead was shit and on its arse!!

you do know that was an edit dont you? naughty naughty george ,,,,,,
help help moderator abuse ,,,,,,,,,, :P  :P  :P

JG here again, JG butting in on Trayhops post (again). Anyway, fair cop it was an edit and there may have been some, ahem (best select number runner), lies in there somewhere. I'll let it stand for a bit, then this and my edit will disappear and trayhops proper post will remain. Can't say fairer than that (due to more bloomin' death threats). Judging by that avatar I think I've made superman a bit angrier, so I'll delete soon.
