ROTJ, £0 in... £70 out!
ROTJ, £0 in... £70 out!
Afternoon boys and girls, hope we are all well!
Lady luck is with me today, in fact she is holding my hand. Wondered in to local battlecrusier, drink, then on the way to toilet, noticed thatsomebody had left 30 pence in a ROTJ and the stake was currently on 50p. Naturally, pressed change stake, span me in three in a row, turbo gamble, got in to second level. Few spins, eliminating small super shot values, built up a £6 cashpot, thought 'ahh, not bad for free money eh?'
Proceeded round the board, 2 supershots, 1st is moon icon thingy, second is RETURN OF THE JACKPOTS RED!
whick then proceeded to give me a £70 roll, collect button was stuck down, machine gunned 70 boys at me!
Bit of a long post but am really shocked by the fact that i didnt even intend to play machine, and it gave me a £70 roll, rather than the normal shitty flat 35!
Anybody else had any REALLY lucky experiences like this?
Regards, J.

Hate to be the one to find fault here, but, how did you pay for the repeat?

Heh, this is what playing 'should' be all about. None of this £100 in for £105 out, causing near-death and a crisis case of open-wallet surgery!
I remember a classic old machine (possibly BFM) called Motorway Madness; 20p/£10 and someone had left two bells on the winline. Add 5p to play (?). Added it, and it let 'em spin for pot!
More recently, I've had a £70 top from a Gold Rush off of £1.50 - bonus gave SSS and I hit the top. Anyone noticed how rare SSS seems on these now? Anyway, that's another story.
A £75 top from a £25 Top Giza (ah, forgot about that chestnut - brilliant fun every Friday night, that used to be!) after £2 in and getting a SS which had blue sevens in range.

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
