Not that local. About twenty miles East. I was only floating around there as I like shopping in John Lewis and enjoy playing £8 jackpot Pyramid in Shipleys :?
I played many places when p1 wiyb were rife. Solihull had a fast one in Mason's Arms which disappeared late May. Pause chip Barley Mow was there for ages and later on a £125 hopper p1 with notechanger(!) in ToteSport across the road. Got chipped to p2 very late August. Saddlers had a P5 in for ages as well, chipped late August.
Barley mow started to get a bit on top when their RtR and Money Magic (tucked right away in the corner of dance floor) got --<--<--< ed.

Ok. What £8 Pyramid? I go in Shipley's quite a bit. As said previously, i know the owner's son very well, we should meet up for a beverage of the chilled alcoholic variety sometime mate.

I used to drink in the Barley Mow all the time too, although I'm talking 7 or 8 years ago. I remember they had a funny money & a wipeout. Also played in the other pubs round there & remember the Saddlers had a grid runner & a who wants to be a legionnaire.
Went back there a few months ago & for the most part had a very poor machine selection.

Trust me they have cracked it good and proper and it's actually p6, not p5, so christ nows what p5 actually was. Perhaps they just don't like seeing p5 as it reminds them of unchipped p5s. Or maybe they accidentally made winstopper skill or something stupid.
Basically it's still a 'numbers' strip but it is now faces of a 'die' on the strip. Only 1s and 6s go! Basically 2s and 5s are guaranteed loses unless it is actually there or you're going for £1.50 or less or win stopper or less. 2s and 5s lose on the centre full stop unless it's first gamble or it's actually starting to fly.
The dial is only active on 50p play. It's now like the banker's seal on WOW. Also when not gambling above £1.50 expect to see the Pope shitting in Shipleys before you get the dial, ok? No friendly, dead, but haven't dropped in for a while type reflexes coming out the blue.
Win stopper has also changed, but why? Anyway it is now a pseudo-skill dapple which is even worse than WOW in that it consistenly awards £1 on white and a whopping £1 on red. Yes £1. I suspect it may offer £1.50 if absoutely flying.
The final nail in the coffin, boost doesn't go up on 10p play. Repeat, boost doesn't go up on 10p play. All this pointless trimming back just goes to show they don't really have a clue exactly what the problem was and have made everything as tight as possible.
Remember the old flavas? The roll in red sevens, the £5 repeating to £20? Yeah well nothing rolls in and nothing repeats, so go away.
Even the dial doesn't roll in on 50p now. You *have* to get it off superhold and it even thinks for nearly a second before that happens.
It still won't streak and paradoxically takes best part of a ton to get the mega streak which will go for flat £35. From there on, it's a battle to get the bank up to £50 whilst it is still giving red rise and fall.
No free blap after extra life. It's [3] 4 3 (now dice remember), hi...[2] 3 4, hi....[1] 6 5. Yeah, cheers. That's gambling for £2 by the way.
I suspect it must actually roll now from time to time. Frequent invincibles and bigger streaks. Who knows? A mate got a RANDOM STOPPA onto MS on 10p play and it gave £40 dead, no flash next board.
Nothing here, nothing, absolutely nothing. Getting three his or three los is harder than a dead panther. EVEN on the FIRST GAMBLE WITH THE ODDS. Think of that devil machine whatever it was called. Just like that.
Trust me there is no magic.
10p takes longer to get a board than 50p. You nearly always get it on superhold cherries/lemons/numbers (no grapes now folks or ultra rare respinners onto red 7s! You know what I mean, we've all had them). Sometimes you get roll in numbers to take you over 8. Only when flying.
ALL BONUSES are religiously BOOST (now 100% useless), NUMBERS IN VIEW (only given if USELESS) or RESPINNER where if you have the ? cherry(1) ? then you can hold the ?s for no number and then a BOOST to 7 or maybe 8. There is no WIN SPIN, RANDOM STOPPA (unless a freebie, in which case you can get it and it will give MS, so maybe that's a tip. If you get RANDOM STOPPA on 10p play, which you probably won't, it'll be MEGA STREAK) or SKILL SHOT.
Normal bonuses apply on 30p/50p play.
YOU DO NOT GET THREE TRAIL HOLDS ON AN 8 on 10p either. NOR THREE TIME HOLDS, or any time holds. Like I say, you only get on from superhold and I've heard that can take up to £20 in dire cases.
50p will roll in a win before that. So 50p all the way cheapskates.
There really is no magic.
Wait until full and pumped and hope to get the dial from superhold. Three white phones is ultra hard as you ALMOST NEVER get phone from bonus now, always change number.
You'll know when it's ready to gamble to jackpot as you'll get 2s and 5s up past £5 or CHOOSE A WIN.
I seriously doubt these are HUGE.
It pains me, really pains me to see what this machine has become.
p6 DOND wiyb. Yes, they've cracked it.

You gotta be kidding me, yeah? They have gone to the the trouble of making a new hi-lo belt and third reel?!? It's not exactly a new machine! I'm pretty sure all that was needed was an extra line of code (ok. maybe two or three at most lol) not an entire rewrite.. lol

Third reel is exactly the same, just you never see the dial drop in, from superhold only, active only on 50p. Does nothing on 10p. Numbers reel is actual numbers 1-6, but with dice background. Not sure why they needed to do that. Then again it all smacks of desperation.

Probably, hehe.

You can also get SUPERSKILLSTOP now from 30p/50p play only apaprently.

They may as well have reglassed this and called it 'Not Deal or no Deal what's in your box?'.

It's a totally different game.

Jesus, cry wolf once too many times and people think it's a wind up.
You'll see. There's one in <humpf> services on the M<flurvble> and another in the frog and toad in humpfminster, near the mumble.

I had more material as well. Check this out.

Yeah, ahem, BFG have now released the p7 wiyb. Basically it's head or tails only on the numbers strip.

Actually that was it, I'd just got as far as heads or tails. Or maybe no fruits at all. Or nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing. No dial. You can't play it as it's invisible. And not there. Damp squib. Fizzled out.

Yeah err so right, errr, yep. Fear not. Well done, you've blown apart my fantasical prophecies of a p6 wiyb. I should know better.

There was once a machine called Red Cherry, Black Cherry which only had two fruits and four reels. Obviously the fruits were a Red Cherry and a Black Cherry.
