Should've iou'ed it and invented an empty.Nixxy wrote:I got heavily involved with a hormonal Monster Cash today (no notey, £125 hopper) and it ended up doing a £35/£105 run from consecutive boards.
Such a pain as I ended up having to key 13 pound coins in just to be able to collect the £125.
Monster Cash
I knew someone would point that out - the problem was that I was a long way from home and it would've cost me more than £13 in return train fares just to collect it.Extreme Eddie wrote:I've never understood why the new £35 jp have only £125 hoppers, with these large streaks they do they need to be higher. would have also put in a claim for the £13, you aint doing nothing wrong and it was probably a fair bit off your profit if any was made?
It was also in a big metal Global cabinet, not an Eclipse, and I've heard these things alarm before - and it ain't pretty ...
I made a loss on the Monster Cash but made a £30-ish profit on the Vortex next to it, which made up the deficit, so I wasn't too worried.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
prime example of a large streak on a £125 hopper yesterday, BTQ was playing nicely in my local last nite, decided to push it and it cost £103 for the BTQ feature that went £35 (from offering £10 first board and £15.40 caspot within £20), next board flashed and went £105, got the bank down to £50 and called the gaffer over to tell him i don't think its gonna give me my money, he asks how i know so i try and explain but it was like talking to a brick wall, it IOU'ed for £17, i would have been £35 in front if it had paid the lot out, had to settle for £18, should get paid sometime this week hopefully.
why don't they put every £35 mc up to a £150 hopper at least?

Trust me, we'll all soon be looking for Monster Cash's. Remember your locations for when it gets out. Remember you heard it from the BFK. I say within 4 weeks.milk monitor wrote:It is generally. Bad luck there bigv.

I had an 11 first go on Rockstar. A few survives, faffing around, on centre cash board, got up to £9.60 then an almighty pause of doom. Machine suddenly goes in a strop. BOOOO! Straight to arrow on left, right out, 10 BOOOO!!! Game over. 5 BOOOOO! ? Roll even........1 BOOOOOOOOOO!
Naughty.
Got to watch out for those pauses, collect that quid just to annoy it, just to show it who's boss and you know what the program is thinking.

They keep fixing it but it nearly always goes wrong again, got the run on it last week from first SAD, it went for £83. Then when playing for lines, half way through it fucked up again and had to leave it!! Still made good on it tho.logopolis wrote:Yeah you liked your Purple Dog Monster Cash!!
