Look like it's me then 8)

Cardinal - Neteller is like paypal i would say, only used it once but i have an account if needed.

Is anyone going to pay by paypal? If so should they pay the extra % which paypal take? Also how are we doing the entries? Shall we all fill the sheet out and send it off or post our predictions on the board?

I will try and do a league table every day adding the previous days points each time.

We should probably have at least 2 people working independently with the sheets / league tables, just in case there's any controversy.

I was planning on paying with paypal (since my bank accounts useless).. how much extra would I have to pay?

i can do the league tables too, thats no worry -

tell ya what, when everyone says "in" on the other thread, i will post all fixtures up on a seperate thread..

fill your scores in for each group game on here i.e,

germany 2-0 costa rica
poland... etc etc

p.s, admin/mod - maybe we could have a sub menu in the forum for all this- will get very messy

no harm in having 3 folk all checking the results.

Does anyone fancy using the excel spreadsheet, or would you prefer to post your predictions on this board? If the latter, make sure to include the later rounds!

I'd like to do the World Cup thing but not quite sure how. Could someone who understands it post an Idiot's Guide for me? :)

The best way to do it like so...

everyone predicts every result from the group games, you get points for each correct winner (+1) and points for each correct result (+2)
top few go through to predict round 2 games, with the same precedure, top few got hrough to QF predications etc etc until their's either

A> a winner
B> 1st, 2nd, 3rd

what we can do is i will post up on a new thread every single fixture in the first group stage later today, everyone post their predicated results in that thread.

Right. So are we doing just the 1st round or the whole thing?

Cos if we're only doing round 1, I don't want to post the whole thing and give you the right scores.

I was going to do the whole thing, if you pick teams that don't go through do you score 0?

I think so... although you do get points for guessing each correct team in the knockout stages (but only if you get their position in the table).

I'd be up for doing the whole thing at once... but if anyone has any strong feelings please say so...

Good point. Best if we post our predictions up here so that everyone can see them (and try to resist the temptation to "edit" them).
