Another classic returns... Roller Coaster

Post by Barry Trotter »

...whilst on the lash in cardiff, we went into a place called the square and they had one of those infinitas machines. It only had bloody roller coaster on it! Seemed to be the same layout as the original, only with £20 as the maximum prize from the reels, and the top feature giving a megastreak feature like the original (got £45 off it). 50p play only, but seemed to play really well - and most importantly, it still had all the cheats in!

£40 in, test your strength twice for 20 quid a time, then roller coaster for £45. Then we just got pissed!

looks like all the classics are coming back! wahey

If the manufacturers do go down this route, I think it will not be a bad thing! ;)

It's no jest - it definitely exists. I've only seen it on the square in cardiff - i assume it would be rolled out across all of these machines - although i've only ever seen that one, so don't think there are many of them...

Seemed to play the same as the original - 50p a credit (twice as much as original) but then the awards are doubled from what i remember, so you can get £20 from TYS!

Loved it! :)

Surely the original was 20p play/£4.80 TOKEN jackpot which would just block all wins over £2.40 when the token tubes were below a certain level.

It would be good to see some other JPMs back in business. I did read somewhere that a forum member had seen Caesar's Palace on one of these terminals.

I'd like to see some of these:

-Impulse (11th Heaven)
-Red Alert (Fireman's Lift)
-Caesar's Palace (Roman Reels, Up Pompei, Super Gladiators, Super Golden Hold)
-Do You Feel Lucky? (Wild Thing)
-Red Arrows (Wild Thing)

I understand a lot of the original JPM programmers moved over to form Red Gaming? Perhaps it's no surprise that JPM and Red have been overall my favourite manufacturers... ;)
