Barred from Machines?

Post by Shaggerty »

I play darts for a pub, when I'm down there (3 or 4 times a week) I usually end up winning on the Fruity. (Ant And Decs Jiggy bank mostly)

The landlord has said I'm ruining it for the regulars who like to put in £20 or so and try their luck. Due to this, he's thinking of barring me from the machines. He also says 'I can't see what you're doing to win'. I don't have anything to hide, but didn't fancy getting barred from the pub totally, so I said fine, and went and played darts.

Anyone else had the same types of issues?
What are the laws when it comes to barring from machines?

Any input would be appreciated.

There are no laws! He can bar you for being bald if he likes!

As for simular experiences I dont tend to have a conversation about it. ussually goes something like;

GET OUT YOURE BARRED

or if its a woman;

GET OUT GET OUT NA NA NA GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT

Thats exactly it. Any reason he wants.

I've offered to let managers stand next to me before n also just tell them a few things.

Like on the four reel deal or no deal I told the manager (as he plays machines) that when u get kicked out of the middle u could gamble on ur number to get back in.

He had no idea and was like "nice one". Just try telling him that u know what the features are etc which helps u win.

In all honesty though u've left it a little late. Any bar that u think is getting a bit suspicious u have to make it look like u've lost every now and then.

Also change a few notes up at the bar even if u have coins.

You'd be suprised how much that works. I was about £20 up on a machine the other day but changed £40 over the bar and he thought I got hammered on it!!!

Hey some of them are proper weird, listen to this...

Me and my mate were both hittin a Pink Panther at different times.

Anyway went in one day for a genuine drink (although obviously went on it anyway)

Anyway mate my was on it when the manager came over and said he couldn't play on the machines anymore.

Apparantly the "owner of the machines" whatever the fuck that means was in the other day and said he knew my mate was putting in "a code".

What the hell?! lol. Sometimes u've just gotta laugh.

But my main point i'm making here is they haven't stopped me playing them??

I'm still in there most days making like £40 a time.

I just can't work some of them out...

I've had the ''your putting codes in'' rubbish, its just when there clutching a straws, and don't realise machines can be manipulated into doing certain things, also ''you can't use your mobile whilst playing the machine'', yeah i'm on the phone too Mr. Barcrest and he's giving me the codes :roll: :roll: :roll:

Just odd things, the Mega Streak box has a massive dent in it. Play any machine long enough you notice odd things.

Too right anfield. They need to be rise n fall and £5 cash ready really before they give those out. 90% of boards are £1-£3 cash, and hot shot/ maybe a turbo cash feature side.

I've had the mobile phone one as well.

At the end of the day it's the classic (and it will never ever change):

People only see what's coming out and not what's gone in.

I was on another gold strike today that I'd put pretty much exactly £100.

Anyway did a £35 took a bit back then did a £70 so the bank is clocking at around £90 and auto collecting.

Suddenly half the pub is around me asking me how I'd done it.

Done what? Lost? LOL :wink:
