State of play?!

Post by anfield road »

I keep reading on how the state of play today is wank?

I personally think its amazing, I have about 10 cluedos, a P5 8 change over WIYB!

7+ ATM, Invincibles Vortexs I have so much stuff to do its unreal!!!!

The stated of play is only poor because of the info you have IMO, you just have to look further!

I'm quite pleased with the full SP for me at the moment:

3 OAR's +6%
2 Invincibles
1 Invincible +6%
2 Vortex +6%
2 Panthers
3 Cabin Fevers (!)

So that keeps me busy... ;)

I agree that this is also peppered with a lot of crap, but this is pretty much the best it's been for over a year and a half now, at least!

Got a lot of good stuff too. It's a case of making hay while the sun is shining, no doubt it will be BFM/GM city before long.

rubbish, I can play all those machines you list (plus the other players machines ie. cashattack) as well as the next guy but they aren't around here, well certainly not many of them anyway, it's got nothing to do with info. You're talking about all old machines there, the new stuff is crap, obviously you are lucky to still live in an area with loads of old reds etc .

Time since last seen particular machine
CCP - 6 months
OAR - 3 months
Panther - 12 months
Cabin Fever - Don't think I've ever seen 1
GADD - 9 months
Invincible - 3 weeks (I had 7 just over a month ago)
Lucky Devil - 9 months
Rovers - found 2 3 weeks ago, 1 has gone already
Cash attack found 1 for the 1st time in about 4 months.

Common machines throughout 3 towns are
Crazy Chair, CYBTB or clones, P5, R2R

Even games media are quite rare.

I completely agree with Ob here - you're very lucky indeed to still have half those machines. My nearest Red now requires a Travelcard to reach.

It doesn't help that I live in an area of the country where everything seems permanently burned, but the new crop of machines really are crap even with good info.

People are practically queuing outside Spoons to help themselves to full hoppers at 9am each day, but some of us haveta work ...
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

It's because you live in Rhyl mate. No massive cities round those parts, so machine turnaround isn't as great as all the big cities most of us here live and play in. I can get similar machines in the sticks, but high rent city centre pubs are just nearly all DOND/Games Media/new shit reds etc. Count yourself lucky.

went to butlins minehead yesterday, not a single dond anywhere
tons of reds though and spotted vortex and invince both on iou in a bar lol.
loads of 5pound vamp clones done mega streaks 1st board .
unexpected results on a few things aswell. even spotted vipers 3 of them!
you could even make money just watching the block of 4 ring a bells on 4 pound jackpot lol. easy easy easy money to be made ,certainly worth a look on your travels.

A rocket money and a lucky devil has just turned up in an old peoples pub i play snooker in occasionally... happy days.

Went from AFU LOTR to JPTRAR and hi-lo karate to those 2.

Needless to say my snooker game's gonna get a fair bit better over the summer :D .
