I played a £15'er in Peterborough a while back just for 'old times sake waiting for the Cluedo times sake'.
I had a bit of amnesia, I forgot that if the crystal ball is as quiet as a mouse, you aren't playing a buzzing machine. I forgot that losing the first gamble on an 11 or 2 when you do get a win isn't a good sign. I forgot that 2 presses then death around the board isn't probably going to let you retire on Monday.
Yes, I forgot all those things, you know why ??? FOR THE LOVE OF PLAYING AN OLD FRIEND. Stuff the profitability, I wanted to hear that roar, I wanted to be hypnotized by the rising and descending arpeggios of the reel magic sfx. I wanted to hear some guitar and allow myself a wry smile when it awarded every shot except reel magic then died.
I've gotta get down the coast again, I need to play some old stuff.
I want to hit a Pink Panther 'advance to Eiffel Tower', I want a Max 147 off Andy Capp. I want to nail a stop 'n' step off a Big Bucks. I want a K,3,10,8,Q card set off a Monte Carlo or Bust. I want to get all the wins on 'The Roll' and for it to start again. I want to guess correctly on the photo finish for the Jackpot on that Horse Racing machine, I want to go to the winners enclosure on the other horse racing machine. I want 10 repeats on the blue 7's on Chico the Bandit. I want to play Knight Time on Screenplay. I want a full bank of nudges off Action Bank. I want the £2.40 repeat streak off the hi/lo cards on Up 'n' Down Nudger. I want to gamble all the way to the Jackpot on Firecracker and have 10 holds afterwards. I want to nail In Orbit on that Star Trek themed machine. I want to Hit The Six and get the follow on streak. I want to play on a pocket full of tokens all day long with a steadily rising pocket full of pound coins.
I WANT IT ALL NOW.

Played one of these yesterday aft.
First off - looks great. Same as old, bright, and the good old SFX.
Play wise, seems a lot fairer than recent crests (cash attack/open the box etc). You can tell how its goign pretty well. I chased it for 2 Mega Streaks (both flat £35) and left it £20 odd up.
Don't even think of nickign a quick reel magic though. BLOCK. Might as well not be there to be honest, never in a million years going to prise it in like you could do at times on the old one. I even tried to set it with no pots in view and 4 nudges saved to bring it down once offered. Nope, no chance. Just a chase if ready job.
Boards that went in started on taxi and skillstop. Talk about obvious.
