You have won the odd fa cup and of course the champ league in 2005 because you are good on occasions only and not anywhere consistent enough to win anything which requires a sustained level of performance.
Coupled with the fact that your fans live in the past, got us banned from europe ruining many clubs finances and also putting us to far behind other european teams(until just recently) this is why outside of Liverpool everyone laughs at you when you say you are the best team in the world.
