another version was no JP machines other than quiz allowed in places that serve food.
Anyone know the full truth?

I trust a few of us on here will have tens of thousands in savings, some I bet may even have enough money for a house if they have saved well over the years in the game.HorseRacingKing wrote:Bet you wished you had got jobs now.
I'm sure, if and when the game is up, there will be some investment opportunities & business start-ups.
And the rest of you, Mr Polska and Mr Lithuania have your Min. Wage work!

Some depressing reading there.
Games Media
“We have gone digital in about 10 per cent of the estate, in a cross-section of pubs, and we are getting more money in the cashbox in all of them,” she explains"

"After many months of testing and talking to pubcos he has finally struck a deal with Sceptre Leisure, the country’s third largest operator with 16,000 machines, that will see his digital AWPs installed in pubs at a slow but steady rate, with groups including Admiral Taverns and brewers such as Thwaites and Joseph Holt involved."
“How long that evolution will take depends on whether we can get jackpots higher. It’s still only £35 in pubs compared to fixed-odds terminals which have a £500 jackpot. Licensees are losing players to betting offices and arcades and that’s slowed development.

“I have no doubt that digital will change the whole face of the industry, but it’s important we get the right machines in the right places. “There’s a danger in thinking one glove fits all. It has to be site-specific.”
The flexible content of a digital AWP means content can not only be varied from pub to pub but on one site it can change through the week or through the day.
Marsh envisages, for instance, that a machine might have games for the core player between 9pm and 11pm but try to attract casual players with different content during the day. “We can even elongate game speed and give new players more value,” he explains.
