pie factory coin problems

Post by kinglizard69 »

i have recently purchased pie factory 1 but it won't accept 20p,1£,2£ coins, they just fall straight through to the bottom with no credits given. It takes 10p & 50p coins o.k. if I enable the coin alarm on the switch bank, the alarm goes off.any ideas???

When you say they fall through to the bottom do you mean to the cash box or to the payout tray?

Could be one of 2 things, faulty mech or faulty board but is usually the coin mech not sending the correct signal to the baord, hence why the alarm is going off

Might be worth unplugging the coin mech loom both ends, making sure all the pins are intact as a fulty loom would also cause this

The machine probably thinks the hopper is full; dump the hopper (whether there is anything in it or not).
The machine should then know the hopper is empty and divert coins to it.
