QPS SKILL DEAL OR NO DEAL

Post by Guest »

well this just landed in a local haunt of mine...50p/£1-/20pd/50pdJP respectively....basically theres 12 boxes with numbers in em...it flashes a number on the lcd and u have to deal if its one of the numbers or no deal if it aint...u have timer and if u mistake u get time penalty...all correct deals add the amount into a points pot and u get a points target to access deal or no deal feature....strange beast it is....just wondered if anyones had any experience thus far....l8r

Played it at Yarmouth earlier in the week, it seems like hard work, I got to the first offer of £1.60 then the increments to the next 2 offers were just 60p. I dealt at £2.80 as the next target was over 100 away.
I assume that it'll shaft you and not match any larger numbers if you go 'over the bar' of what it wants to pay anyway.
I played a Powerball £5 in the same arcade, so keen was I to have a flip with the ball, it wasn't until I actually got the feature that I noticed this rusty bit of metal for an excuse of a flipper. To add injury to insult, the thing had no power at all, like an old pinball table where the flippers don't flip very hard any more, no matter how much effort went in, the ball wouldn't go over the top but my finger was steadily losing skin.
Management was called, he hit the fuck out of it and managed to drop into hole 1 -power series streak 1 for £4 - result !

They had loads of these Skill DONDs wasting space at the ATEI - they look really tacky.

saw one of these today on my travels, first game wanted 160 points for the offer, didnt even get close, 2nd game 130 for the offer got nearly there....

but 3rd game only 110 for the offer, got there easily and it offered £4.80... very generous I thought, but it was only 225 for the next offer, so pushed on, got it and now the offer is £9.70, next offer being at 360... wanted to push on, but guy I was with didn't so took the money...

seemed quite a laugh imo...
