Absolutely. I said this earlier on - I live in inner London and work in the city. Although i started this debate on dress and do advocate strongly wearing a suit and smartening yourself up, my experience of playing IS purely limited to round London. i will not claim otherwiseYoungKai wrote:if you notice most of the people who advocate wearing a suit are the people who live in the capital, and no doubt stick to the nicer areas, but if i'm wrong then fair enough.
the city is aboslutely JAM PACKED full of players, infact places like bank/liverpool street are amongst the most done areas on earth.... Often city players phone me up wanting to meet up, saying them have 30+ cluedos etc., and my response is simple... 30+ dead cluedo's is about as much use to me as 30 big reds.....jonnyg323 wrote:Absolutely. It just depends on location really, and the staff.
It's simple if the staff want to kick off they will do regardless of what you're wearing, it's just their interpretation of how fruit machines work that influence their mood.
Someone was telling me a few years back some pub had a cash attack that was getting done, and the landlord didn't mind and was like it's 78% payout.... the machine always wins, doesn't matter if people take a bit out. Aye rite mate lol.
I look like a bit of an emo nowadays so i look like the actual inverse of a stereotypical player so i get little or no hassle should i actually play.
