Ok guys this is all good in theory but aren't you forgetting a few things:

You are going to be drawing attention to yourself, going into a shithole style pub with a bloody suit, as "suit" types aren't exactly common in these types of pubs... hardly the sort of attention you want - infact in the rougher establishments, I wouldnt be suprised if you were mugged/beaten up by pikeys who are potless.

Also I'd imagine at local pub watch meetings etc. someone might note out that a guy in a suit comes and always wins - when other landlords hear of this, they will say the same, and you will be instantly barred from all the pubs on the watch.

depends on several factors:

a) time of day. if you go out in the afternoon when everyone is at work, I'd imagine no one would notice you.

b) place. inner-city pubs and spoons everywhere would obviously pose no problems at all

c) clientele. if you know the pubs on ur route are normally frequented by the pikey types, then clearly you need to take this into account

d) how well you can carry the image. a businessman who exudes confidence and stands in front of a machine with a pint of beer is not going to attract unwanted attention, at least in my city-of-london experience.

i just think the pros of good image outweigh the cons of pikeys wanting to beat you up because you look good!

As I read this now, whilst playing poker I am in my Birthday suit. This is a suit you should wear if getting a 105 top on autopayout.

If you don't notice someone in a suit then this "disguise" has worked then, don't you think ?

 Where would you put your winning JG?

I think ob summed it up, if you are playing in posh city pubs you wouldn't look out of place in a suit but walk into any dodgy pub full of locals and you would stick out like a sore thumb. You need to dress to suit you surroundings (excuse the pun), most places, smart casual is the best bet.

aswell as the suit ,which i have to agree is definitely a good image and also quite dapper garb ! try changing lots of notes even if not losing it .your average little hitler will notice this and probably even extend a little bit of curtiousy towards you , shake your head alot like you are losing , dont look round every time you get a jkpt ,and most importantly dont rub the little tyrants face in it by cashing up all his "little precious" coins before you leave. dress like a winner, act like a loser, think like a leader, laugh like a hyena.

i forgot to mention.........put something soft ,like a scarf in the payout tray , nasty little landlord will not hear the money come out then, thus lessenning his stress levels and your potential rap sheet.

I always have a paper handy for sticking in the tray, works a treat and looks like your just keeping it there while you play.

Probably the best way to go about it actually depends how bad the situation is, if you have a face like anfield that seems to attract unwanted attention and calls to the 50 its a good idea.
