Its a sad state of affairs. In the old days companies used to clone their own machines, now developers are ripping each other off left right and centre.

DOND HoF = Red machine clone

Quid Vicious = Games Media clone

Voodoo m/c off Coronation St = VIU clone

Theres 3 I can think of right now. Maybe they're all owned by the same parent company, either way its lazy and boring.

I played bullys star prize about 4-5 months ago? Playing well from the off frequent boards exchanging £3-£4 think it cost me about 35 for the MS for flat £35 all back in for £70 out. only played it the once and was just going for the force made out £35 so cant complain.

I don't think each company are copying ideas, I think its a case of the programmer PERSONALLY patenting his idea rather than a company doing so, therefore the software house/games company pay the programmer to use that patent/idea.

With the growing disparity between smaller and larger values it's becoming increasingly tricky to make a playable machine, especially at £35jp.

Look at PCB2 for example, you know for a fact it's going to be turd... You can be sure reel magic isn't going to be there anymore.
