Barcrest sound problem (feedback and white noise)

Post by jayinaus »

I've just picked up a Barcrest Ooh Arh Dracula machine (Genesis 5) and the sound had been disconnected on the motherboard. I've re-connected it to find that there is a very loud humming and what seems like feedback from the speaker which is not effected by turning the volume down. Does anyone have any ideas or theories?
Cheers,

In short, no! I figured it was something quite simple when I noticed the plug to the board was missing so I got a new plug and and re-connected the wires.
What's a sound prom? Can it easily be replaced?

OK will have a look to see what I can find. I understand the supplier has to download the specific sound program. Do you know specifically who does it?
