My pass has finally arrived - I think I'll be there lunchtime-ish on Wednesday for a couple of hours.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Just turned up in my local had a quick go on it last night. First board wasn't very good killing me early and offering no more than £3. Try for a second board which I manage to get into the middle on the cash values. Manage to accumulate £31 which I decided to collect as I hadn't put much in.
Could this have been a silent IM? Would you guys have pushed?
It wasn't near full but the pub does half float their m/c's every week.
Are you talking about Money Spider? How did you get £31 in the middle, I don't think you can, unless you mean Gold Rush? On Money Spider, you just climb up the cash trail via the middle 'lap' and there's not a £31 position.
Playing this the other day and thinking why can't the bloody cash trail start at where you decide to exchange over. Nothing more annoying than say, hitting the red sevens on 'Stop Those Reels', gambling to the £12, exchanging over, and then getting into the middle only for it to take the trail up to about £3 before bombing you out. Grr...
I don't 'mind' this one, but I prefer Gold Rush / Warped, as they have the 'Go Red' bonus, and seem to be a lot more inclined to give you the £105 off of the red top feature. The Spider of Money can piss you about 'a lot' before relenting...
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Heh, yes it does, I usually put both hands underneath the chute, and then theatrically 'give up' and hoist it all back into the tray as the remaining lot comes out - usually gets a laugh...
...or a belt around the chops if it's the wrong sort of pub... (j/k)
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
i can see some gaffers getting the hump hearing all that crashing into the tray, putting your hand there might even make it look more dodgy, especially if he's had any toolers in before, mine was in a busy pub with loud music and not one person blinked an eyelid
