Stupid broken machine

Post by megastreaker »

I went to one of my locals the other day. They have a jailbirds in there and its usually served me well. Anyway I played it and it was backing after a few and I figured its worth a go. 1st board gave me superstart. The cashpot was £7ish and I thought that’s a good sign but the shots button was broken. I had to force it via other means. Took a while and it only gave me a £35 top. Kept recycling and it kept being nasty to me and only offering £35 tops. Eventually I got a £70 top and £10 afters. Walked away £50 down and then was lucky that I won that back in the bookies on a roulette.

Was wondering if I should mention to the pub that the button is broken. If people start loading it with money but aren’t able to play the machine properly then surely it will fill it up for someone to empty. Don’t think I’ll be playing it though.

It will be exactly as you said, people will play it but not being able to use the shots should mean it will have more money on it.

Just hi-lo on first swag square, don't even bother spinning in the feature as soon as it is ready it will give it you that way.

Yeah thats what I tried. A couple of times though I was playing the board. I ended up at one point having 25 shots and not able to use them. In the end it just gave me the swags from the bonuses etc.

I beg to differ Mr Dunham(zzzzzzz) but these can offer huge amounts of shots and not be an IM. It will quite happily move you round the board adding 20-60p at a time to the cash pot and move you out a level everytime you get near the middle. I am aware I'm just being pedantic but honestly, you call yourself a player!! :D

Anyway, I do agree that when you're playing these (apart from draining value) there's little use of the shot button involved. Now, I found one where the 'lo / hold 3' didn't work, now THAT was a challenge!

Indeed I was, how very foolish of me, I must learn to read posts more thouroughly! Dunham, please accept my humblest apologies for my error (that said, 25 shots isn't a guaranteed pot [he says, clutching at straws!])

PMK, Wednesday sounds good, earlyish start maybe (same as yesterday)?
