Knockout
Knockout
It's a new GamesMedia clone of Gold Rush.
Not much to say really - you know what you get with these. No obvious differences, the cash shots and the super shots are all in the same positions, except that the features offered seem to be in different positions (and this caught me out). I was offered the feature bottom right of the feature shots box, which I presumed was the equivalent of Fistful of Nuggets - a sign of near-readiness, but it turned out to be something crap.
Anyway, £17 for £12 out and nothing earth-shatteringly exciting to report.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
Took a red feature (think it was called big blaster or something), would expect at least a fiver, woo hoo, a whole pound win and had to work for it (the feature was one when you match up 2 and 0 for 20p, then 80p, should be banned from having features like this on a £35 pot machine).
Not impressed at all, got 2 of these nearby in past few weeks, gamesmedia love churning out these JPTRAR clones.
There are more gamesmedia stuff nearby now than DONDs and never thought that would happen, hopefully somebody will find some major flaw on these so they can get rid of the brand and hopefully get some decent crests/reds/extremes/e.t.c...

As with all of these machines, generally, avoid taking any of the features from the feature panel. If you're playing it for a quick rip - go for the cashpot or a decentish red repeat cash shot. Or, of course the streaks on the top shots.
Yes, usually 2 of the features in the feature panel are worth £10+, but they are offered extremely rarely...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Great fun on one of these last night
Genuinely full from the off and playing for a quick steal when it drops SSS off the bonus which I hit on £20 (quite pissed by this point). Lost the subsequent gamble and didn't take anything from the board thinking it would be stupid not to force from this point. Cue the machine costing £120 to get a top that goes £70 then stone cold dead. Fantastic!

I really don't understand why these clones drop SSS in when they do. It seems to be completely random and doesn't seem to alter the way the machine was intending to play, whether you hit the top feature or not. It's almost as though it's an 'SSS pot' that slowly fills and drops as and when it feels like it. It's so rare to actually be offered it.jiminy wrote:Great fun on one of these last night![]()

It's even more annoying to be offered it whilst too pissed to hit it

I think that the SSS on these is randomly thrown in, I 'always' aim for the top and collect it, or collect the £35 if I'm a bit slow / fast. It doesn't seem to affect the force one bit. Another pot / free, maybe?
If you knock it back, you probably won't see it again...
