I would beg to differ, HOW can it be skill when allot of the time you can be sat there drumming your fingers waiting for a ball to drop !!
The machine must obviously be controlling this IMHO
In the same way as DONO questions can repeat the same question 7 times on the trot - when it wants to force a win !!!
How is that skill ???
Had one last week repeat the same question 7 times until the banker offered enough to get to money game.
Got £10 from money game, next game it went back to normal.
Question was about the % of fruit in yogurt (5, 10, 20) also had 2 try agains left, but didn't need them as we got the 1st try correct (5%)
It's happened to me quite a lot. I only mentioned it cryptically on this board as presumably industry bods will read this board and fix the fault!
As I've said on the other thread - this fault often comes with the game ending as you qualify for the cash- beyond annoying!

Blackbird and Roger, I would tend to believe it is not a fault but a way of compensation on the payout, seems a poor method however do not wish to criticise, it takes all sorts.
In response to Skill Ball Bingo, it is skill as there is a very cute element in the game which is not obvious at general level of play, however having our guys here take it to pieces, for obvious reasons, we discovered the secret of the skill. I would not take the credit for discovering this but did see it cracked. I will not be revealing it as it is only applicable to hand eye co-ordinating type games. We are looking at it for a game maybe for the future which would use a similar principle from Skill Ball. All I can say is, it is skill, but when balls end up bouncing around aimlessly as the time runs out it it certainly does appear to be suspect, but don't be fooled as this is a result of previous actions. Damn shouldn't have said that.

I can only take it you were pissed when you posted this.
If you are implying any trace of 'skill' in SBB you are definitely industry!
" Damn shouldn't have said that" is really just pathetic. You must have a vested interest in this particular game.
The only trick with SBB is to memorize the card (camera phone!) so you don't have to check it all the time.
And it only changes the card if a win above £5 is achieved.
Plus I think there are only about 7/8 different cards, they are not generated randomly
as you only have to accept or reject a ball its difficult to see how the style of play affects it, however i have often played not got a ball wrong yet it slowed down never got near to filling a line, next game got a couple of balls wrong and got a pound though i suspect that is because the game knows i am not threatening to get the jackpot.
Had to respond to Properpro. Of course I am industry can't you read!!!
Cool, of course it is not the style you play as you say. Really, cannot say anymore on this without splurting it out in plain English, which I am not prepared to do.
The whole debate regarding 'Skill' Ball Bingo is interesting. A fellow colleague of mine plays this relentlessly when we're 'on tour' and has only had two full houses (both for £10).
Some interesting points:
- A certain individual machine 'never' offers the five stars, even though the JP level is up in the high £70s! All other machines tend to offer the five stars but never allow completion of the card to gain the JP (which is usually around £40).
- The additional time balls seem to give between 8 seconds and 60 seconds. This does seem to be affected by the skill of the player.
- The argument that this reflects a 'real' ball machine doesn't really stand up. As the balls frequently change the 'range' of their bounce. I've seen my chum require one ball, and there's been about 4 bouncing around. The one he needs will defy physics (not to mention gravity) when ever it gets near the chute!
- Does making mistakes actually help in the long run?
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
