Don't see that it's necessarily a waste of money. Presumably we all have games which guarantee a 2 or 3 quid minimum win, and would be quite happy if the stake was higher on them. (theoretically - in reality a quid, or more, a game will put "mug"s off)
Anyone have an idea what exactly this end game is? Presumably you're not simply paying to get onto the final board of the 50p game? (And hence the 50p game pot?)

pretty much! You can win £1 quite easily for your fiver. So if you put a grand in you'd likely get two hundred quid back. Bargain.
Many times I win £3 to £5 on the prize board then in the Star Prize game I am offered £8 plus. Sometimes I win sometimes a lose. It's more exciting than playing the 50p version.
Blimey. That's so deep you'll have to write it down for me. Or, post me £5 in an envelope and I'll tell you if you've won or not next week. Come on,. it's ONLY a fiver.
