So it's my fault you were spending money on games you don't even like?!

Don't blame me - those three scenarios sound like they were all good for profit, but yes those outcomes can and do happen ... they can happen on ANY fruit machine, as you well know.

Warped sounded ready to fly - infact they all did, and I especially hope you tried another board or two on ROTJ (exact clone of JJs/Money Spider) as in my experience it has a habit of doing another top shortly after a 105 when so much has gone through.

I really would recommend though that you take into account the fact that it's your decision to play 'em, which is a rather odd thing to do if you hate them so much - is it not - and that you don't castigate me for it if you lose.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

REPLY: Yes but they seem to happen all too often on these clones, unlike most GOOD machines!!!

REPLY: Yes of course I played on in each occasion quite a bit, to no avail

I really would recommend though that you take into account the fact that it's your decision to play 'em, which is a rather odd thing to do if you hate them so much - is it not - and that you don't castigate me for it if you lose.

REPLY: OK, I wasn't making the decision purely on your say so, wanted to investigate them a bit myself.

See above for replies... also nixxy doesn't it strike you as odd that although you rate these machines, no-one else replying to this thread is in agreement with you, everyone seems to think they are rubbish - perhaps it's time to be honest and admit that you've had a few lucky results on what is a rubbish series of machines.

The inference there is that in the past I've not been honest - which is completely inaccurate.

Yes I have had some good results, and good results are 20% timing/80% luck. I've had very bad results too. There seems to be some thought here that I am some kind of 'fan' of GamesMedia machines - which I am not. It's simply that in an increasingly limited market, where I find myself much more selective about playing certain machines than ever before, I find myself playing these sort of games/clones more than anything else. As a direct result of that, I tend to find I post more often on threads related to those machines than anything else. Doesn't make me a fanatic]currently[/i] available, I find that they aren't the worst. That honour goes to Barcrest for Open The Box, Bank Volt and clones, which I refuse to touch.

One final point:

You say I 'rate these machines', have I ever said that? I have never said that any of the (previously discussed) machines were great - I simply made posts reporting what I saw.

Ob, I think we should meet up sometime for a beer and go and play a few of your favourite machines and a few of mine - and see if we can agree to disagree whilst having a giggle about it.

These sort of clones are not all that good when you look at fruities going back in time either - but as a series of machines currently available, I find that they aren't the worst. That honour goes to Barcrest for Open The Box, Bank Volt and clones, which I refuse to touch.

- yes agreed, there is worse out there, although I tend to find LOADS of this particular series, especially considering the sheer number of clones

- agreed :P

To be fair ob I hate these things as much as you and have had many a session as you describe £100+ in for £105 when seemingly ready to begin with but one thing I do know is if I got £35 first board I would have collect it and took £25 - £30 profit.
