Bullseye

Post by kidgloves »

I noticed a multi option Bullseye the other day whilst at the coast.
One game was £5 a play which put you straight on the prize board. I didn't see it in action though..has anybody tried it/experiences ?

WHAT would be the point in that? Surely that removes the whole point in it being a quiz machine in the first place?

What next - insert a 5er to get to the end game of DOND? No thanks!

I think the £5 game's a real meanie - one of the few dud aspects of 54. It only gives you one life, £5 apparently doesn't even get you true skill, and the questions are significantly more difficult than the Bullseye average. I've played it twice, lost the cash on both occasions, and will be sticking to the £1 play variant in future (won £4 on that at lunch, with an option to gamble up to £8, which I declined).

I can't see any obvious benefit of this - other than at £1 a pop it should ready up more quickly. I'm good with pop and had 3 quid on pop music earlier, all 501s. Got to the end once and it wouldn't even let me have a quid. Scandalous :x

I won £12 by playing the £5 Prize Board and then the Star prize round. Pretty much in about 90 seconds of play. How super is that! Compared to most chaps on here I reckon I am fairly crap at quiz games.

bravo tupak.
however this is one weird notion of a game.i hit £3 and then realised i had to answer a fairly tricky 4 option question with one life to continue.
sadly i copped out 2 quid down.
i must admit i was quite rattled at the though of losing 5 quid on the first q of a machine!!

Well thats only great news for me because then I can try my luck again and try to win the 3 quid that you were down on???

Do you think the game was designed for the not so clever folk? If so that can only be a great plus. Every Friday or Saturday or once a week I might be getting a round of drinks in on the master minds of the UK.
