Cash Attack
Cheers for putting an image of this up Bowie, I haven't had the (dis)pleasure of coming across one yet. Is this still on test or has it been given the green light to go mainstream?
As soon as I saw this it instantly reminded me of a 7 year old £15jp Impulse m/c called Trailblazer, 3 keys = 2 1 3 - Minefield.
No doubt I'll be disappointed.

Ahh, I knew it reminded me of something - and you've nailed it.ma71lda wrote:As soon as I saw this it instantly reminded me of a 7 year old £15jp Impulse m/c called Trailblazer, 3 keys = 2 1 3 - Minefield.

It's almost exactly the same game, just with different prize amounts and obviously a higher Jackpot. I'd rather play this thing than OTB.
The only Trailblazer I ever played was in a little independent bookies shop, and a few of the bulbs had gone on the top board - so despite Minefield giving you 2 or 3 glimpses at the trail, you could never really be sure whether you were OK or not.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
I could be wrong but Minefield may have been the only hidden feature which gave the jp, putting your hands on the route, and only found out towards the end of the machines life if you press cancel the route flashed up again briefly.
I once played one and the Hi-Los were the opposite way around i.e. left hi-lo went right and vice versa, no wonder it was always flying
, made minefield a proper headf*ck, though.

That was a good oldie machine, although the JP so very rarely repeated. Just push for the 3 keys on each feature board.
I seem to remember that if you were playing this and ready it was worth taking the win series the first time you got offered the keys as it would oftern pay more than the JP say £20+, but afterwards I would always take minesweeper, as the winseries on subsequent offerings would offer under £10 each time.

I don't mind this. Nowhere near as shit as Open The Box, seems reasonable to force. Had a £90 MS too recently, so it can go big too.
What i would advise when trying to see where its at is avoid the very high value features (theres a 7s feature worth £20 sometimes reasonably near the bottom) as it might be say £8-£12 ready, but not £20 ready, but you die early going for it. Just chase it if it goes up to £8 cash on the stack on gives LES's on pink bars (£4.80). Don't even think of bothering with the blue game.
