Anyone know who this is? See the name a fair amount over London on SpotTD, decent scores too (never fail to beat him/her/them though ;) )

I don't. But I reckon a good thread would be naming others who dominate local scoreboards.

Who are:

DAZZA
GIBBO / GIBBED
HORNBY ;-)

all seen regularly in the City of London.

Quiz games. I don't play STD (bad acronym, BTW).

Anyone play as INCA or know who INCA is? I've spotted two very respectable showings locally to my work in the last week - a 95 points on Fantasy Football and a JP on Give It A Whirl. In different pubs (obviously) although curiously on the GIAW machine he'd left quite a bit of cash in other games on the same machine.

Found another INCA down in Richmond yesterday evening, with an ultra-impressive 96-point top score on Fantasy Football Quiz. He's not bad...

i know I've asked before, but does anyone here in london play spot the difference to any standard? if so, I think we should arrange a machine to play on and leave your best scores there over the next few weeks; eg yates as above.

There's someone called MIKE N TONY?? who get some decent scores in the west end. Also KATO who was a v good Boggler but I've noticed him creeping onto Word Soup boards recently

I can regularly clear Word Soup but have no skill whatsoever and often struggle to get over 1550 when clearing. I played today and tried to leave myself with COIN fecked it up but fortunately CION was accepted and I cleared for 1520

There's LENIN too who is occasionally about in London.

The impressive thing about INCA is that on each of the two machines I've spotted him on he had one score and one score only, and it was f*cking good. One might expect a good player to have a sequence of less good scores, but this was not the case. The evidence is scanty but INCA has the look of being a "terminator" or "real boy", to use what I believe is the correct terminology. Has QuizMaster or Properpro been down in London town I wonder?!

Could it just be that he only ascribes his name to a decent score?

I don't live in London but often stay in central London on business, I am up for what you suggest however it has to be deluxe, std2 is not a good test as the score ceiling is too low. There is a gamesnet here, so I would suggest that pub.

If I can find the place, I'll do it next time I'm down west. What will your name be on it?

BJ/TO, just fyi the nell has a titbox now. but you will find a (really slow) gamesnet in the theodore bullfrog on john adam street.

but back to names, i only put in KJOLIG GUD for a decent score, otherwise i often use local players' pseuds or the name of whichever pub it is.
nobody ever wins on those things.
