Smallest league pitch?
Also, the quote was from Cardinal Richelieu himself
Still kicking about.

I see now Demmerz! That's an excellent quote, all the better for being added by the big man himself!
Anyway, with regards to Hamilton Accie's pitch, it isn't its size that makes it unique in Scotland (and possibly England).
As for Brechin City's ground, its uniqueness refers to something they have running along one of the touchlines.

To quote Roy Walker, it's a good guess but it's not right.

If nobody else gets it today, I'll post the answer (and the picture).
Brechin doesn't have an airport. It's only a wee place, although it has the affrontery to call itself Brechin City.

there was something in the paper on saturday about a lower league team in finland whose pitch is hewn out of a mountain.
i'll guess it has a railway on one side.
nobody ever wins on those things.

I'd "Regarder la bouche", Matt, otherwise "Monsieur Choppy" might come and pay you a visit.
And UP, nice guess but not right.

Now look here.
I'm all for lambasting that uppity prick Cardinal Richelieu, but if he is what you say he is, then that makes you a beard-sporting, sexuality-indeterminate, warm beer drinking, Morris dancer.

another good answer, but it's not a field of cows, or indeed any other type of livestock.
