4 draws
4 draws
Been having success with backing draws over the last month or so and am currently trying the 4 draw accumulator route.
Apparently roughly 50% of English domestic games end home win, 25% away win and 25% draw.
In my opinion the following picks won't end in a home win (and also the away team isn't vastly superior) so theres a 50/50 chance of the draw however the odds are nearer 9/4 for each.
Picked 4 lines of 4 draws for a pound stake per line. My idea is that if I can get 8/16 overall then one line of 4 could come in. I've gone for:
Line 1
Derby-Bolton, Coventry-Charlton, Huddersfield-Luton, Grimsby-Hereford
Line 2
Sunderland-Blackburn, Hull-Ipswich, Bournemouth-Carlisle, Macclesfield-Chester
Line 3
Barnsley-Cardiff, Preston-Bristol City, Yeovil-Notts Forest, Notts County-Chesterfield
Line 4
West Ham-Arsenal, Plymouth Wolverhampton, Port Vale-Southend, Morecambe-MK Dons
As a bit of fun I'll keep posting and see how much debt I rack up before one comes in.

The joys and woes of four draws. I've had a line of four draws every weekend for as long as I can remember and I've got to be honest, its been the best moneymaker in football for me. Even at £1 stake it normally pays between £105-£120 a go.
But you will start pulling your hair out when 1 result lets you down week after week, especially 89th minute winners which happened to me last weekend ( MK v Darl). Therefore why not try them 'lucky 15' style. Even just a 40p L15 @ £6.00 pays;
1 result = £2.20
2 results = £6.00
3 results = £30.00
4 results = £125.00
These values are approximate depending on the odds but they're never too far out. I suppose it costs a bit more but only 2 results gets you your stake back.
Best of luck.

Bad start to the system at the weekend. Only 5/16 draws which is quite poor but still enough to fill a four timer if I got lucky
The whole point was to pick games where the home team wouldnt win and I managed to pick 6 that ended in homes
ops: Back to the drawing board I guess, will be having a go at the Champions league games midweek.
Balance: -£4

By the way that same result let me down that week as well. But I had a £2 stake on it. And I was watching Soccer Saturday when it went in. I remember rolling around on the floor in agony.ma71lda wrote: especially 89th minute winners which happened to me last weekend ( MK v Darl)
As for the lucky 15 I think you have to be consistent (which I'm not), instead I'm going for the scattergun approach for the big four timer win.
I would have thought I'd hit one before I get to 100 goes to make a profit but we'll have to wait and see.
