Gamestech sloppyiness.
We had our Power 5 replaced today... with another Power 5! The new one seemed to be ready for the commited credit, when i played it it automatically spat out wins however, also noticed on the display in attract mode it said hold one for last game info! without a key having been turned, not to mention all the reels were out of place, later on the alarm wouldn't stop going off so it was turned off permanentley, thought GT were one of the main players in the business, doesn't help that they gave us a Holey Moley today aswell, exactly a year after we last had one!

We just got one about 4 weeks ago, and nobody round our area has a clue how to play it. Have done a good £250 profit since its been here.gambogaz1 wrote:I'd be quite happy being given a HM if its a £35 JP.
They see me gamble from £25 on a seven and lose and laugh at me, then next time they look over there is £105 in the bank :-)

It'd be interesting if someone could post the full new regulations on here, for reference? Players Heaven mentioned the credit transfer change, but nothing about this last win business.
I'd have thought that the best scenarios you could hope to see when checking last win would be:
Last win=£35.00. You'd know where you were from the start then! Especially if it's a Red and the first board get's you to that tenner mark! On all machine types, you'd at least be able to tell first board whether or not you are mid streak / end streak.
Last win=£15 I'd play most Reds that said this! Would signify to me that the previous player had no clue, but got lucky with a decent win!
Last win=£5 / £10 On majority of machines this is the last win which is neither here nor there. Reds, a 'player' may see that the machine is at a block, and collected to minimise loss and move on.
Last win=£1 / £4 Mainly again, on Reds, this'd pretty much show that the last person to play was not a 'player'. Although the flip side of this might be that 'players' purposely collect a naff prize after clearing £105 out of one.
Having said all that, I'd say that each of the above scenarios could be taken one way or the other, so the real benefit of knowing the previous win is probably only going to be minimal.
PS: As HM is mentioned in this thread, t'was the only machine I played last night and made £90 off of £35.
A good setup for the weekend!

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Re: Gamestech sloppyiness.
Nope, they brought a new one off the van and put the old one on the van, both chipped. Unfortunately it's not last win displayed, it's last game, so unless the last person won on the last credit and walked, it's useless as it just says 'last game - 0.00'.theoak wrote:did you watch them change it? surely its more likely they just chipped the existing one!bowie wrote:We had our Power 5 replaced today... with another Power 5!
