are you playing on 50p mega spins??? the reason i ask is because you say it was offering number runner practically every bonus, which of cause you can't get on 50p mega spins. this is still the best red for me, but i have had it be nasty on me when full and showing like you say but had lots of great results from this one :D

Dont play mega spins no. Not denying in can do great tops just not having much luck with it personally one of those things I guess e.g. everyone slates Sub Zero but that yoused to be a good earner for me. I have just found the last few reds have got a bit more harsh and more blocky. Seems to be huge block on £5 a bigger block on £10, a biggish block on £15 and as I found on FNC huge block from £25 to top. Of course Vortex doesnt have £15 £25 cash amounts.

Quite a funny story on this last night. Me mumdoes a shift in a pub on a monday so I called along to see her for an hour and they'd changed warped for Vortex.
2 Lads were playing it sat on stools so I presumed they were players but I couldn't be more wrong. Basically they were on it for over an hour recycling wins then putting a tenner in, winning some back then putting it in again. It kept redding up but then they'd take a feature winning all different amounts. Funniest moment was watching them take Red Down Pour and they just watched it drop right down to mystery then wacked the start button  Outcome £1
I was itching to get on it and eventually they left. I'd guess they lost a good £40 or so as i saw them change £30 at the bar and however much change they started with.
I jumped on it and I'd now got about 10 locals watching me.
Switch to 50p and megaspins and it took about 5 mins drop the 1st MS after about £25 in. Followed that with another MS (both did £35) then blocked at £8 so took several red features and a skill stop to gamble upto Superstreak. Took about £100 out for £50 in. :D

When you say blocked do you mean lost every time or just once??

It can lose on any amount even when ready not necassarily a block
If it threw in the £8 more than once and was offering red features it would have had another top in it,and could have done £70
I have had that before on this also had £70/£70

Still a fine result though and probably similar profit

Blocked as in £8 higher than a 2 to a 1! that for me is a block and as it was I got around £35 to £40 off various wins so I find if theres still 1 in there it'll give it 1 way or another.

good point MrRed has there, often people assume as the machine loses a specific gamble its blocking it; not necessarily true though, it could just "randomly" lose the gamble, on older reds when its blocking its obvious as it does a really long spin, ie. sting king rich if on getting your £15 on superhold ( :P ), you went higher than the 3 it long spins in a 2....

On newer ones I find it sometimes does this even when the amount isn't really blocked in the big picture - ie. previous board went to £25, then next board it long spin loses £15-25 - just a bit of a random "block" as such, just for that one board!

One of my favourite results on this: 10in note acceptor, nothing til last credit, nudge in 5, gamble to SS and die; its on. 2nd 10 in note acceptor... doesnt accept it... kicks it back out WITH the original one! :D

rest is boring, 20 more in, MS goes for 70 next board, SS for 10. all off 30 (should have been 40 ;) )

Just a note on this 1. I've had more tops from filling the vortex name than gambling to the top so I always take Vortex on a slow down bonus.

i always do this on invincible and stack too, lets be honest.... the extra life is bollox and the no lose is hardly worth it as well, your just hoping for a good run of 3's and 10's anyway. don't even mind the odd 4 and 9, its just the mid-range numbers that do your head in, at least if you get a 3 or 10 on super streak that loses you can say you've had a shot, unlike the vile 5,6,7,8 that wins once in a blue moon.

Had me 1st horror session on 1 of these yesterday. Backing after £15 in and already gambled upto £8 so switched to megaspins and went for it.
Cost £130 to get my 1st top which did a flat £35. Still redding but took all the £35 back and another £30 before getting another top for £35 but this was then follwed straight after by a SS on a 6 so collected and it did £30 then another £10 later another top for £70. So £175 in £135 out.
