Yeah they aren't anywhere near as good. Have a new £35 campers here which was glaringly ready yesterday. It did £55 and £50 tops, but i was only £16 up from it at the end. £105 worth of top and a £6 afters and still only that much up. Pitiful really, just takes an age to go in. I'll probably still go visit there every now and then, but stick to my awesome £25ers ta!

There's a new chip for Jailbirds??
I'd done the one here for £50 the other day when the LL guy sauntered over with a nice new chip to replace the existing one in the machine. Now i play it and its about 4 times faster going round the board, hi/lo's more like a £35er or campers, and has gone flat £25/£25 twince this week from being there from the off! Don't tell me they've ruined its streak profile! :x

I asked politely in the bowling alley for him not to chip <you know> but he said it had to be done there and then.
seen a lucky strike chipped in front of me a couple of years back, what can you do

Cobwebs
Was emptying a good ready to rock and the engineer walked in the pub. Quite politely asked me to stop playing it, as it wasn't working properly and he needed to replace the machine. My response was "It looks like it's working perfectly well to me. You can wait until I finish. I'll but you a cup of tea if you like." He chuckled and actually took the tea. Good sport. I even left £1 in the hopper.Streakypoos wrote:Anyone ever asked politely "please, would you mind not putting that chip in there for now?"
I'm feeling absolutely gutted ...
I won £50 from a repeating £25 JP (nudged in) on 50p Jailbirds earlier today, off just a £7 investment - tried one more board but it £1 started and died VERY quickly so I walked away to play a different machine.
Joe Public wanders over and sticks a tenner in the notey: on the board and it nudges the JP in again. And then repeated. And then repeated again.
The bloody thing basically streaked for £125 and I only saw £50 of it ... Grrrrr...
Still, at least it was profit.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
