Are you sure it's not Money Spider? Generally piss-poor Games Media stuff, but can chuck in the odd £6 board when relatively dead.

Yeah i got one of these as well piss poor.

Mine is on 50p £25, i made about £10 by putting 80 in £90 out just collecting what was offered. Not an efficient way to play i know but worked out ok, certainly not something id be buying a drink for.

I've never really had a problem with these machines:

Money Magic
Money Spider
JPTRNR
JJ

I've heard of horrendous stories, but personally never had too many disasters. Been £30 down or so a couple of times however. It's just a right pain that it's pretty impossible to tell what any of the features are. Having said that, most of them are £2-£3 and you can tell the good ones after a bit of play, as you never get offered 'em! :)

Yep i got offered what seemed to be the top feature (well would have been on JJ)

Turned out to be a fast cash type thing only it had 3 cash values lit each time, the top value i had lit was £20 and it went slow to let me select one seeing as it was red.

Had a £25 JPTRAR which was abysmal, now got a £35 Warped which doesn't seem half as bad. Might have just caught it at the right times, but seen 35 cash shot come from nowhere.

I have just been raped by a Money Spider ...

Full, backing, showing the £15 cash shot quite early on - all looked rosey in the 'garden of profit'.

£85 in and I'm FINALLY offered top feature (not red), which I knocked back in the hope that a red top feature would present itself soonish and go for £70, or better still - the full £105.

After £130 in I realise I'm getting low-ish on coins and this thing has no notey - so I decide to take the next normal top offered and hope that it rolls from it. Nothing doing, and with £8 left, I decide to grab the next big cash amount offered (after all, it's been offering £15 for fun on all the previous boards) - all £8 goes in without even being offered a board.

Argh!

I wander over to the Itbox and nervously stick a £20 note in the notey, knowing that there's a high chance of it not paying out the coins after my game of Spot The Difference - but thankfully all £19 rolled out and no IOUs. I also change up a £20 at the bar just incase.

With £4 left of all that - and £173 over the back - I'm finally there with a red Top feature which simply HAD to roll. Cue a flat £35!

£22 of the went straight back in for a welcome £105 top. With only £7 remaining in the hopper, I didn't really see much point in continuing and accepted my £55 loss.

What a pain these things can be ... :x

red and white top feature is the same.

I'm not talking specifically about money spider, I mean on everything.

chance of repeat is max 50% red or white

You're probably right - but it 'feels' like normal top features never go very far. It also feels like you have to work hard to earn the red top feature - hence they don't come around all that often and seem to go for more than one JP.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who, when aiming for top feature, likes to ensure that it is red.

regardless of how it 'feels' or 'seems' red and white are the same and knocking back a white top is crazy.

I keep saying it but KEEP RECORDS

if you wrote down every time you got a top streak on any machine, whether it was red or white and if it rolled over after a few hundred tops you'd know this stuff.

gambling profitably on machines that are carefuly set up to run at a pre-set profit is very difficult and you need to give yourself every possible edge.

on red it has to do 35 70 or 105... on white it can do any amount ie. 40 etc., so it really is better to get the red top feature
