What games have/haven't been jackpotted?

I was referring to the latter. I agree it's a decent enough game; I just think that the JP on it would probably be a very tall order. I think my maximum prize thus far has been £6 and I've never got much beyond about 7,500 points. IIRC it doesn't indicate what the maximum JP is but I bet it goes on a fair old while. Would be good to know what people's maximum prize on Tetris is actually, to see how much potential there is there.Northern Monkey wrote:which one are we talking about- the one that is basically just tetris or the one that is questions, bonuses etc. I have found the latter to be quite good in thicko arms type territory.

Yep agree with all of this, I have never gone above £5 but the nice thing is normally the first £3 or £4 are bunched together so if you get to the first one witha life then even if it throws up some tough ones you can blag your way up (bit like Cavey in that respect)
£4 is my tops before bottling out with more in sight. I have noticed though that occasionally it goes into 'helper' mode, where it gives a game with loads of bonuses, free moves and the questions are ramped down a bit. However, the cash does stay as suspended as high as usual. Don't reckon its beyond the realms for a better player than me to hit one of those games and keep on chugging all the way to the jp. 7,000+ I reckon is pretty good scoring, so gawd knows how much you need to score.
I've seen the helper mode a few times but it's pretty rare. I thought the questions were a bit harder than usual but it did give a lot of bonuses etc. On the same topic over the weekend I shattered my PB score on Tetris - I got 10,800 points. I only got £3 for that! (The game initially looked like it was paying but clammed up half way through, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered carrying on with such a non-paying grid.) I can never work out how the scores work - I only got three Tetrises so I wouldn't have thought that would have got me much above 8,000. Has anyone noticed how the first Tetris is sometimes 800 points but sometimes 1600?

You get 1600 for two in a row I think- never done 3 in a rowgrecian wrote:I've seen the helper mode a few times but it's pretty rare. That's absolutely right - I think the standard scoring is 800 for the first Tetris, 1600 for the second provided done consecutively (so total 2400). However, I think I've got 1600 for my first Tetris before, and then either 2400 or 3200. My gut feeling is you get 1600 for the first Tetris if you've already got some lines down already, but I'm not certain. I got three in a row for my record - I think I got 1600, 3200, 4800 (total 9600 plus about 1000 of scores as the game progressed) but I'm not sure. It was on a GamesNet but I don't think that should make much difference.Northern Monkey wrote: You get 1600 for two in a row I think- never done 3 in a row

Where do you play q-t?q-time wrote:WORD UP.
I do love this game but have never taken more than £2 from any single game. Soemtimes I can rack up a few £1 and £2 wins but the payout structure seizes up after a dozen wins or so.
You have probably seen our scores on your travels...
strike it rich
Old school, but hey, who else was getting £80 out for a quid ? These got absolutely battered ! Saw one in a chippy near me recently too.
