Great Win!

Post by Matt Vinyl »

Had one of the best results ever yesterday! £6 into a Legal Tender, filled the name, £110 top board!!

Look what my mate from behind the bar then stuck on the machine LOL:

It was of course shortly removed by the owner. Well, need someone to start refilling it! :)

Spent most of the winnings on Booze and Taxi's however, not to mention a slightly dicey chiken donner on the way home! ;)

I have the one with the dodgy reels as well
Not as lucky as you though matt i put £45 in and the top went for £90
last night.
When the number reels are knacked like this you just have to hope for a skill shot and then hit the 99 nudges and pray the gamble to top goes.
Worked for me. It always seems if you find one like this the top always goes big. People must just give in when they realise its dodgy

LOL - I've read about the number reel issue in a few other threads, but this one has always been OK - might just be a lucky one, or they've got around to fixing the issue.

I'll admit I was stunned. The first hit was a tenner, followed by 4x£25 hits. I had a similar result on that very machine about a month earlier, however I'd put about £40 into it that time before it went.

I don't think I'll be playing that one for at least another month! :)

Awesome Matt, Nice work.

I discovered a knackered reel Legal Tender before Christmas and the most i ever got out of that was £95 in one top and i was gobsmacked....However I hit 2 tops, 2 hit the tops and a few red features for a bank of £130 the second time i played it which amazed me.

It ALWAYS was full, Got Sgt Snelly involved and between us we would batter it £75+ every week.

Good work Matt :)

Very nicely done Matt. Not seen any red do over £75 in one go, so you've done extremely well there. From what see and hear, i think these go bigger than any other red? Paycheque was another bigger, ans was X-Rated.....though i still think this one does slightly more.
I also think red have deliberately knackered a lot of the flexis on these, every other one seems to be done over! Excellent news for us lot though, as the force for 99/gamble is not number reliant! :D :) 8)

My best win on a red was probably when i put about 8 pound in top giza for a 75 top. One night i've had a 75 top from legal and a 75 top from top giza on the same night :)

Heh - it's loverly when you have a lucky break like that isn't it? Very rare, but very nice! :)

I've now got a week off work, so will be planning a few visits to places I've not been before, hoping to have yet more luck, but mainly, supping pints in a few riverside pubs... ;)

Most i've had off the top was £38 but thats because i didnt know what i was doing at the time... Was just lucky! :o ops: starting to learn this m/c now though.

I'm sure I'm not the only person wondering this .... but given that the top notes are valued at £10 and £25 only, how did you win £38?!

Have you not seen the Legal Tender old school 70s version nixxy? Has £1 notes on it and everything! :D

p.s. I was wondering the same thing. I've hardly played LT, but know it only has £5 incriments on it. The only reds with odd amounts are MS ones like Top Giza/Rocket Money etc. All the others have notes or £5 multiples!

I'm imagining a Hit The Top feature where the coins are all florins, half-crowns and halfpenny pieces ...
