£35 JP force and also £5 block on £35ers.....
OK nobody has answered either question, lol.
Has anybody:
a) Forced a £35 when not redding and if so what happened.
b) Do people still think if it gambles past £5 it is a good sign or is it just gambling past £5 now as it is generally a bigger pay machine and therefore maybe there is no £5 block any more...?

finally hit a £35 on my pulsation the other night.usually it only ever lands on the blue £10, but it landed on a red £35 - completely unexpected.
it also did that rip off trick where it turns all features red - offers a shot at all the red £35 notes at the top.................and lands on lose straight away! absolutely disgraceful!
although it did offer a normal top about 2 presses later which went for £20.
profited about £60 in the end. very easy to read when streaking.

there is a £7 block on most reds, hence why u see toggle slip down to £7 rather than climb to £10, although its not really that much of a solid block...
gambling £5-6 doesnt really mean the machine is ready to roll, could just have a bit of "board value", although its certainly not a bad sign for the roll...

The £5 and £10 blocks are the 'sturdy' core blocks which you can tell from a mile off. I'd say that there are also 'weaker' blocks at the £7 and £15 mark, that might only sod you off once or twice before breaking, but they're still definitely there.

Yeah i suppose that is fair to say MV. £7 and £15 might lose a couple of times, but not the 5-6 times you can lose on £10 at times. I guess Toggle losing on £7 also proves it is a block. I sometimes get annoyed on lucky devil when its all blue and i take a toggle which goes to £10! Could hvae gone for it!

Agreed! I find the newer Reds (FNC etc) tend to go for the £10 a lot more on green than the older ones - or perhaps I'm just getting luckier.
I caught my first glimpse of a Lucky Devil t'other day - not had a chance to play it yet though, plus, it's in a place that is loaded with 'da bwarz' who will do anything for a shiny 50p...

a) Yes, a Lucky Devil, I was bored. It cost £80 for £70, so could have been worse i suppose. In my experience, and this counts for the 50p/£25 version of this machine, they don't red or number runner until they're literally just about to go. A bit like Holey Moley.Alpine021 wrote:OK nobody has answered either question, lol.

b) 50p/£25 the main block is at £10 now I find, not £7, so I wouldn't read too much into seeing £5. On £35s, especially On a Roll, you need to see £10 to be relatively safe.

Before the shambles of the footy last night, I had a few brilliant results on some £35ers.
OAR (1) - £30 in £112 out (£70 top & various red features plus odd £5 / £10 collected.)
Vortex - £35 in £127 out (£70 top from name fill / 2x Super Streaks / few features.)
OAR (2) - £45 in £95 out (2x £35 tops / £10 cash / few features.)
And on the £25ers:
Hidden Treasures - £10 in £50 out (£50 top from 'Step Reels' JP higher than a 2.)
Loving the £35ers at the mo!

Yeah normally before on all the reds, gambling past the 5 pound mark was a sign that it was there. However, you must remeber on the 35ers that 5pound is like the equivelent of 3 quid.
Saying that on 15er crests, 5 pound was a sign of forcing, the same with the modern 25ers. Would barcrest change this now they have gone up to 35s? If the machine was dead then it would obviously just keep killing you and only offer 1-2-3 cash.
For example i have had 6 pound offered on a 35 Open the box, to find that it is still dead on its arse!!! These are still quite hard to read and the newer 35ers are more unpredicable.
