I've.actually.got.4.keyboards....2.with.knackered.spacebars/enter.buttons,1.with.a.shagged.connection.and.the.other.is.so.old.it's.got.some.connection.I've.never.seen.before!

You could always cut a ‘space’ using the mouse and then Ctrl-V it in when needed…

Both [CTRL] buttons were also out of action!

And I forgot about the on-screen keyboard! Happily, I nicked another one from work - it's american, but it still does the job.
