Could it not be that a portion of the extra 20p that is taken in when playing on 50p a go is used to 'feed' the lower percentage setting, to keep it on a par with the +6% setting? If there are not seperate 'pots' (which I think we are all agreed, there isn't), then this 'must' be something to do with it?

I may not remember much from A-Level maths, but I do know that in a fixed 'environment', you cannot change one percentage without affecting the other, therefore the 'environment' in this case, cannot be fixed, that extra 20p must be spread amongst the percentages.

Any math-men (or women!) here that can help me out? :)

Cheers!

:)

Heh - I'd say that is not a chip-pissage moment at all, as surely that means that there are '2-machines-in-1' out there that can be played on both stakes for dual pot wins?

Or am I grabbing the wrong end of the wrong stick from the entirely wrong tree (in the wrong field!) ;)

No i know what he's on about. Old methods used to involve taking value out of different pots on a machine to extract maximum value.

However, on these there's no chance of that at all. Like i said, you just try and take anything from these after a £75 top. Not going to happen!

yes, wrong end

the machines already run on several pots. the 50p profile simply has one extra pot that 30p players can't get at. it will be savin g up for extra suprise wins or repeats. if you take £35 out of top on 30p it's possible that it would have gone for more if you'd been playing 50p. if you take £105 out of top on 50p you'll have killed 30p too.

you have to play 50p. that's where the good stuff is going to be.

i totally agree in this circumstances because when you open the atm on ccp you have a definate win so its harder to force. personally i play this machine on 30p play but mega spin (4x numbers).
fnc for example is 50p per play all the way!!! :D :D

surely these multi-stake m/cs just run on a variable percentage payout?

From ram reset, the m/c would just need to track the cash throughput on 30p, say £X & the cash throughput on 50p, say £Y.
If the m/c is set to say, 80% base:-

Actual payout, A
Target payout T = (X * 0.8 ) + (Y * 0.86)
Drift = T-A
Current target percentage = T / (X+Y)

or it could simply track Total In, Total out & update target payout spin by spin.
