How do you guys win on fruit machines?

I play on them for ages, pour loads of my money in the njust lose it all. Am i just really bad or is there a technique to play them? To me, its just 100% luck. I really dont understand them!

three things

1) Knowledge of Machines / profile
2) Timing
3) Discipline

Number three is VERY hard thing to master

in order to start to win on fruit m/cs ryan you will need to play alot first in order to grasp the basics and also to see what different manus and m/cs actually play like, yes this can cost you alot of cash so if possible play on a free machine if a mate has one or something like that to learnthe basics that will apply to all machines then jsut experiement as was said the disipline in playing these is the key...if you put 10 pound in and then get 20 out walk away. profit is best banked and not reinvested in a mc that is on the suck..

any other questiosn just ask people im sure theyl help if they can.

The best thing you can do is download an emulator from somewhere like http://www.fruit-emu.com, and play some of the older machines, look out for characteristics that are familar between machines, payout cycles etc. I'd start with the Arcadia ROM download, as this is one of the machines that can be manipulated to pay out over percentage.

hmmm, not a bad idea about the emulators....But they are old chips and are programmed differently to modern machines. You wont find any machines from about the last 4 years on emulators. Still for the basics (messing around with nudges, 3 hold rule, let em spins etc) then they can be helpful.

But as Mjd rightfully said its ALL about these three things

1. Knowledge of machines / profile/ experience/ years playing
2. timing (when to play the machines, knowing what times the most money goes through them)
3. Discipline (knowing when to walk away, knowing when to accept your losses, or to not chase another jackpot)

I remember a barmaid thinking WOW when I got £85 from £45 out of Jolly roger, then when Hi Lo Karate Replaced it me and a member of staff had a conversation when he said 'brand new machine for you!' and she asked 'do they all work the same??' bigtime NO... lol
