last time I checked, when you are on the dole don't you have to provide evidence that you are actively seeking work, and show up there once every fortnight? Don't they need to see evidence of applications and interviews too and get feed back from the employers that you showed up and made a genuine effort?

not that I have ever been out of work but you are correct. I believe it is called job seekers allowance our day and yeah you have to be shown to be taking proactive measures towards getting a job.

Although I think someone stated that they claim incapicity which is different kettle of fish all together
