I have played fruit machiens for past 8 years but must admit the quality and playability of machines are just awful. Im student but i do like playing machines for the JP and forcing then if neccessary. I suppose less people are playing them and that the makers are getting wiser and fitting them with more bugs.
I loved throw a wobbler, shark ravin mad, vamp it up etc there styles but all barcrest can produce now is substandard machines which are easy to read by the masses.
Why are all machines crap now?

Why would they do that?joker53 wrote:I suppose less people are playing them and that the makers are getting wiser and fitting them with more bugs.
So you've lost some of your (sometimes unfair) advantage and easy income to boot - diddums.joker53 wrote:I loved throw a wobbler, shark ravin mad, vamp it up etc there styles but all barcrest can produce now is substandard machines which are easy to read by the masses.
Due, in part, to the uncertainty in the changes to gambling legislation and taxation etc, no-one can afford the time or expense in producing new spec machines which may not be legal in a few months time. Same reason goes for why no-one is buying them either. So the situation is stagnant in the UK until the new Gambling Commission, BACTA and Mr Tax Man sort their arses out.
I now have to admit that Bellshites Dough Ho Ho is actually not bad
True, I dont have a clue what the stupid swords on the left represent, and the message in a bottle says bollocks like 'Collect sink or Swim and it will give you £2.00 Cash', but it does a 3 hold to the superboard sometimes, and it usually goes upto £7 repeat and that Cash Ahoy feature which aint bad..
Still undroppable though
